Mike Clark was my tech for mt 6 months maintenance for my furnace I did point out my concerns for my fan motor and he confirm that was was beyond repair and to replace it which I could hear my fan screaming really loud but from now on I plan on having mike come out and service my unit

they were called to inspect duct for a leak due to fan running not cycling, they did not find leak or hole in duct work, they did find small problem with furnace capacitor, also recommended to have vents wide open for my modular home to reduce back pressure on duct work. highly recommend this company for service.

Hired them for a checkup. The tech seemed nice but it was quickly obvious he was just trying to make a sale on additional service. He first checked the furnace fan capacitor and said it needed replaced. I said no thanks and then the system would not come back on. Turns out he had blown a fuse on the control board. We finally got to the ac unit. He said it might be a little low in freon. Maybe 3 lbs low. I asked how much it held and he said 4.5 lbs. Since the unit was still blowing cold air I questioned him on it having only 33% of the freon and then he said it was maybe a pound low, but for 276.00 he could add that pound. That's when the appointment was over. It's a shame because I plan to, and he knew it, replace the old ac unit with a new efficient heat pump in the near future. But I won't be contacting air service for a bid.

"I'm sorry for your experience, Our technician should have explained that when we do a check up on a Comfort system, we are there to make recommendations to bring your system as close to the way it was when it was installed as possible. If a capacitor is weak it might still be functioning but it will put more strain on the fan motor and cause more energy consumption as well. If this is not corrected it will cause your Fan motor to fail and cost a lot more then the capacitor would have. Plus until it does fail, the unit uses more energy than it normally would, costing more money in electric. Also I think there was some confusion on the refrigerant pricing. Your system might have only been 1 lb low but we have a 3lb minimum. There are a couple reasons for this. Remember that when we do anything to your system we try to get it to it's peak performance and energy efficiency. Our technicians use a super-heat and sub-cool method to get the exact amount of refrigerant in a system. We have to "feather" the refrigerant in this takes alot of time and extra equipment to do right. This means that even if your system only ends up with 1 lb of refrigerant, we have to add and remove more than that to get the exact amount needed for your Comfort System. Plus we also have waste of putting on and taking off the hoses. This should have been explained to you at the time of service. It sounds like my Technician done a though job and did what expect him (or he would have blown the low voltage fuse, anytime you start getting readings and using your meter to try and check components there is a chance of that happening. I do greatly apologize that we didn't meet your expectations but I assure you our only goal is to make your system as reliable and efficient as possible. We will try to communicate better with all our clients in the future."
