"I called after the first cold snap, just before Thanksgiving. They were able to get me in the same day due to a cancellation. The representative was very courteous, honest, and knowledgeable. He ran a camera up the chimney and recorded it on a tablet. He found minor damage from wear and tear expected of the age, but did not see any cause for concern. He suggested having it checked every year or 2 to watch for further damage, but no repairs were needed currently. The Chimney was not dirty enough to warrant cleaning either. I thought the starter bar was corroded, and the gas line removed, but after checking it, he found that it was the remnants of a decorative log. The line was intact, simply capped. He removed the useless mess, and replaced the starter bar in minutes. He tested it, shut it off, and double checked for leaks. Overall, very honest, and reliable. He could have charged me more, and cleaned the chimney too. he could have recommended unnecessary repairs. He was straight with me, fast, and the price was cheaper than several other companies I called. There were cheaper companies, but they did not have any ratings here or on BBB. I would recommend, and will use again."

"My job was quite small abut was treated just the same as if it was a large scale project. The chimney cap that was installed looks great and the chimney required some modifications which were done without additional charge."

"Previously, Daniel from Mr Sparky changed all our outlets & switches, installed new fire alarms, & moved our electric wiring panel. Danielâ s exemplary professionalism, diligence, & customer service led us to contact Mr Sparky again to repair electrical damage caused by raccoons. Bradley Loveland completed the recent repairs. Because of his skill, work ethic, & courtesy in completing repairs along with our previous experience with Mr Sparky, we have entered into a new service contract with the company. We highly recommend Mr Sparky for any electrical project, big or small."

"We contacted Doerr Enterprises this last fall to trim our tree in our front yard that was looking a little sad. He was very prompt to get to the job, get it done and cleaned up! We have also hired him for the first snow we got so far this year and he cleaned our drive in no time! Would highly recommend his services!"
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
