Mark was a pleasure to work with. He is professional, friendly, and dedicated. He and Carl worked diligently to install our new privacy fence, which looks excellent. The project was completed in a timely manner, and we would be happy to hire Mark again for future projects.

install small fence with gates on each side of my house last summer. came back briefly for repair request on workmanship. problem being there is so many issues with the workmanship to list. post un level causing gate issues. pickets are almost buried in ground causing warp. shoots screws into nothing to hold boards. does not gap boards right. angle cutting required is bad. gates are not reinforced correctly. material issues. cross supports are all over the place and not correct. he literally added more in to try and fix mis done picket supports.looks horrible. does not honor 6 month guarantee on workmanship. so glad i did not have a bigger fence for this quality of work to be done on. dont believe his work done photos. to many bad photos to list

"And if it was so that bad why would he come out and say he likes it and pay me I think there was a little issue with the gate not because it was sagging because of spring load on the mechanism came off or something I fixed it life was good so why are you wait a year in 2 months and do this review at 12:00 last night which would have been the first of September of 2025 his fence was built 628 of last year this dude is off of his rocker"

Everything went fine. Mark, Boothroyd, and his assistance. Put my tore my old fence out and put in a new one. It did run into problems with three roots. I've got like a 100 year old tree out in the backyard, and I'm just one post. It took him 2 hours, and he ran into two of these. It's of course a problem. But these guys are fantastic. They don't even stop for a pee break. They just keep going, so I highly recommend them to anybody who wants a fence put up. Thank you.

Overall, I am happy with my fence. Mark does very good work. There were a lot of obstacles that we ran into along the way : Menards ordering/delivering services, unreasonable neighbors, a very steep hill, sugar dirt, tree trunks, lack of laborers (good workers are hard to find) but through it all Mark would be sure to contact me and show/explain any issues he ran into and how he was going to work around them. He kept a positive attitude even when I gave him the stress of a deadline! (Your girl just wanted a pretty yard for Easter!) He did have a couple things come up that slowed him down that were mainly out of his control, but that’s life, we all have hard times every now and then. He persevered and met my expectations even if that meant he finished working the day by himself. His prices were fair and upfront. He stayed very close to his original bid on the job. This was a BIG job and a tough one at that! Thank you, Mark! I would consider him for future jobs i may have.

Mark did a great job with the fence and got it from the ideation stage to reality. Appreciate how flexible Mark was as the design changed from a picket fence to a shadow box. Did good work on my deck and gutter and good clean up. Only problem is that my gate doesnâ t shut due to a post being placed in the wrong spot. Now I have my gate bungeed shut so my dogs donâ t get out until I can get a gate built.

"The gate was very old and falling apart like the whole fence is falling apart very old and weather. I think when we first got there. It was close my rope or something to hold it to k In fact, When I first got there and talked to her about the job. I looked at her fence and her gay and is was barely holding up. Set her first initial priority were the deck. Because it was on safe. And I even talked to her about building her a gate. But then it wouldn't be doing any good because it would just have to come apart. When the post that it was attached to on the other side was rotten and falling apart. The whole gates falling apart blah blah blah you"

Mark, along with his assistant Jeff, did an outstanding job replacing and repairing a large section of fence for my yard in a very timely manner. They both were professional, easy to communicate and very knowledgeable about their craft. Most of all, Mark was very honest and up front about his estimates and very fair pricing. He knew EXACTLY what was needed to get the job done and did all what he agreed to do and followed thru. I would highly recommend his service to anybody that needs fence work, deck work, or other wood projects done. I have a wooden bridge on my property, and I would gladly consider Mark again to repair and work on it as needed. Thank you Home Advisor for sending Boothroyd Construction my way. :-)

Built me a beautiful fence. Worked around a lot of obstacles in my yard electoral lines cables and roots. They adapted and they over came obstacles and install the fence and a very timely manner. Very friendly very courteous.

"In defence of Boothroyd construction Ms. Marsh French turns out great. had a couple of hiccups at the end. misunderstandings, the top posts were not cut correctly. I went back and corrected it. Nick, 15 posts with my chainsaw. tried to replace them. did not have any pick-it-ups at the time. Home Depot, Menards, or Lowes for about a month. They said when she got there, she panicked, and then the list grew bigger from there. I say she is an opportunist. I have pictures of the fence that I built. 2x4s are perfect the way they all line up. The tops of the pickets are perfect. She complained about the shrinkage. Every fence is built with treated wood."
