"Footprint Floors did great. Shea checked in several times during the week long process and was always available for a text or call. Dillon, the installer seemed very detail oriented and wanted the flooring to be as exact as possible, from the actual vinyl to the trim that he replaced. I am waiting in a few transition pieces and 4 more boxes of vinyl as I was short when I ordered but with most of the flooring done, I am very pleased with the job done and the vinyl overall."

"I needed bed disassembled, new bed assembled and old bed hauled away. Ancient Path and Micah called right away after project submitted in Angi. He asked a number of questions to get project details. The other suggested handymen by Angi never called. I probably should have called the other suggested handymen for more quotes. However decided Micah's quote was mostly reasonable and decided continue with them. Arrived on time. Micah and Paul quickly disassembled the old bed and removed it. Took a bit longer to assemble the new bed, but certainly way faster then I could have done it. Quiet and quick work overall. Both were professionals in appearance and their work."

"I bought a house with 1,200 sq ft of badly treated flooring. The wood is 1 1/2" thick, pine planking topped by years of poorly applied finishes, some of it literally poured on. Wide-eyed contractors either shied away, recommended new floors, and/ or presented me with whopping estimates and no guarantees. Seeing the ads for N-Hance I didn't think some new, quick setting method could be my answer. I was wrong. Jerry Knowles, an accomplished woodworker prior to entering this business, assured me that they could do what was needed. His knowledge, experience, diligence, confidence and work-ethic is valued by this elated customer. The wood that may well have floored an old hayloft now graces my space with a warmth and character that a new floor could not approach. Half the job is in the execution, but an equally important element is in knowing first what to do. Thank you to Jerry and a top notch crew."

Floor Sanding questions, answered by experts

In Springfield, accidentally mowing over boundary markers, moving landscaping stones, or building sheds without checking survey documents can disrupt property lines and reduce the accuracy of previous land surveying work. Letting tree roots or heavy vehicles disturb soil near survey points, or failing to inform contractors about marker locations, can also make future boundary surveys and property line identification more difficult and less reliable.

Helpful?

Homeowners in Springfield are increasingly requesting GPS-based boundary surveys for precise property lines, elevation certificates for flood-prone neighborhoods, and topographic surveys to address drainage or grading issues. There’s growing interest in surveys for solar panel placement and subdividing larger lots for development. Conservation easement surveys are also gaining traction, especially for those looking to protect green space or manage stormwater runoff.

Helpful?

In Springfield, a typical residential boundary survey is completed in 3–7 business days. Topographic surveys for standard lots usually take 1–2 weeks. More complex projects, such as ALTA/NSPS surveys, require 2–4 weeks, while subdivision platting often takes 4–8 weeks. Seasonal weather, like spring storms, and permit processing can add extra time, so planning ahead is recommended.

Helpful?

In Springfield, delaying land surveying can lead to property line disputes with neighbors, halted construction projects, and complications with title insurance during real estate transactions. Outdated boundary surveys may result in encroachments or zoning violations. For homes in flood zones, expired elevation certificates can increase insurance premiums or limit coverage, making timely land surveying essential for protecting property value and avoiding legal headaches.

Helpful?

In Springfield, it’s smart to schedule a land survey if you notice shifting fences, unclear property lines, or plan to add a new driveway or fence. After heavy rain or tornadoes, check for disturbed or missing survey markers. If you’re buying or selling a home, or updating insurance after storm damage, a current boundary survey helps prevent disputes and ensures accurate property records.
