"I recently had the pleasure of hiring Jon and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, Jon was professional and I enjoyed working with him. He was incredibly responsive, provided a fair quote, and showed up exactly when he said he would. The job itself was done with remarkable efficiency and precision. Jon completely removed the old stump, leaving my yard looking clean and ready for new landscaping. He clearly takes great pride in his work, and it shows in the quality of the finished product."

Small jobs welcome

"I had contacted other contractors to come out and give me a quote for my project but I kept getting stood up. They came and quoted me on a Sunday no less and immediately put me on the books. They showed up on time and were polite and courteous. They equipment left some ruts in my yard but they showed up after they completed the job and fixed the ruts. They went above and beyond for me without asking and were super easy to work with. I will definitely be calling them first for any future concrete work I'll need in the future and refer any family and friends to them."

Small jobs welcome

"They immediately came out and gave me a quote, which was very fair. We discussed power washing the driveway and sidewalk to my front door. They came out earlier than expected and did a phenomenal job! They also cleaned my front porch and all of my landscape blocks. They went above and beyond, in my book! I'll definitely hire them again soon, to clean my siding."

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can hydroseed with a garden hose, but you’ll need a tank or other large vessel for mixing the slurry, then a pump to send the slurry through the hose for spraying. Making your own hydroseeding unit can work, but it’s not usually worth the effort and supplies unless you already have them.

The soil around your foundation should slope down and away from your home, not toward it. If the grading drops the farther you are from your home, you can enhance the slope by removing more soil. Mark off a few feet from your house and dig up some of this soil. Regrading around your fountain should encourage water to flow away from your home and not collect or “pond.”

Monkey grass makes a beautiful, low-maintenance ground cover, particularly in shadier areas where other grasses don’t receive enough sunlight to grow. It’s also excellent for edging walkways, bordering flower beds, and accenting rock gardens. You can grow it as a container plant, as well, which is a perfect solution for those who love its foliage but want to contain the spread.

Many ways to landscape a steep slope on a budget exist. Avoiding expensive retaining wall construction is the first step. Consider creating a rocky slope with boulders or large stones, or think about planting perennials that return every year with a single investment. Transplanting small trees from elsewhere on your property is also possible and can help to stabilize steep slopes without purchasing new ones.

Yes, such as sod installation and erosion control for comprehensive site improvement.
