Indian Summer Pool and Spa has 60+ combined years of management & field experience designing, remodeling and installing Custom upper end Gunite, Viking & Always Fun fiberglass swimming pools /spas.

"This company was not upfront with their pricing at all. I feel like I was robbed. I was expecting to pay about $300 for my pool to be closed for the year. That is roughly what I have paid in the past 2 years. This company did not tell me that they were going to charge $203/hr between 2 people. They did no other repairs, just felt like charging $1,100 to close a pool. I did not know I was going to be paying someone what I would pay my lawyer to close my pool. I would never have used this company if I would have known I was going to be paying over $1,000 to close a pool. That is insane how they feel comfortable charging that much. There are so many other great pool companies in Springfield to choose from. Please take my advice and use an honest company. I will never use this ridiculous company again."

Originally doing business as Local Dad Repairs, it had at it's heart the goal of helping people in our community keep their homes repaired in hard times. In 2016, with the economy booming and the need for our services diminished,the company shifted it's focus to commercial consulting, serving millwork (custom woodwork and cabinet) companies in the NYC and Washington DC markets. When the corona virus pandemic besieged us all, we realized that there was an opportunity to once again serve our community, but in a more future focused manner that made full use of the skills gained in energy efficiency and home improvement we had developed over the years. They are filing for bankruptcy and are being investigated for fraud. If you run into Jeff Johnson and he wants to sell you a pool and you believe him when he talks about being an ex-marine. RUN like you are in a horror movie and just saw the chainsaw. He took $45,000 from us, a retire teacher and veteran. We saved that money for 20 years so we could do this and do it what we hoped was right. I wish I hadn't made the goal money wise and never called about swimming pools. I was duped."
