"Wow! My friend recommended Brandt's Lawn Care to me so I gave them a call. I already had spoken with two other companies, but I decided to give these guys a call anyway. I'm so glad I did. They were quick to come over and give me an estimate. When I met them, they were super nice and very knowledgeable Arborists. He gave me a quote on the spot and was able to schedule me within days! This is not how it went with the other two companies. When they arrived, they were very careful around my landscaping and stopped cutting for my wife to walk in and out of the house for lunch. These guys communicated well and frankly, did a better job than I was anticipating. In fact, my neighbors have already commented on their work and one of them hired them to do work for them. These guys are true professionals and a step above the rest. Anyone that is familiar with the Lake of the Ozark region, knows how hard it is to hire someone and then actually get quality and timely work done from them. Brandt's Lawn Car is amazing! This was truly the best encounter I have had since living here. I've served in the Army for over 20 years and have owned a number of properties that needed tree work completed. Unfortunately, palm tree stumps are one of the most difficult types to remove due to how their roots grow. Unlike other trees, palm tree roots grow horizontally and vertically. Palm tree roots grow as deep as three feet into the ground, although soil and growing conditions could mean they go as far as 50 inches into the earth. 

If you want to be able to repurpose the grass in the area where you removed a stump later, you’ll have to dig quite deep—and perhaps wide—to trim away all the roots.

Steer clear of the area and contact your utility company immediately. It will have a website portal and/or a phone number to report downed trees and electrical issues. If the tree appears to be on public land, you may want to call your local government and report the issue there, too.

Salt, herbicide, light deprivation, boiling water, and burning can all help dissolve a tree stump. You can also bury the tree stump in soil or mulch to help it rot naturally. Killing a tree stump prevents future regrowth, but you may also remove it by digging it out or grinding it.

Although the terms tree trimming and tree pruning are used interchangeably, they are very different types of tree maintenance. Tree trimming involves enhancing the appearance of your tree by removing unruly branches, providing your tree with ample sunlight and nutrients and prevents unsightly overgrowth.
