"I emailed a list of what I wanted done ahead of time although I wasn't sure at the time how much he could complete in one day. He came with the list and supplies needed for all of the work except for the fixtures which I supplied. He moved through the list in the order of priority I set and completed my full list along with some additional items I wanted done but were not on the list. To make better use of his time (and on the advice of their office) I laid out each fixture near the location removing all items from the packaging. I also removed all switch places and outlet plates as well as moving any furniture or appliances that were in his way. I left the empty fixture boxes around the house for him to throw his trash in and told him that I would clean up after him. This saved him a ton of time - he said about 15 min. per fixture - and us probably 2-3 hours of labor charges. I used this company several years ago to install ceiling fans in bedrooms and relocate an overhead light and was very happy with the electrician they sent. When I mentioned that at the time I scheduled an appointment, they sent the same electrician out which they had a record of. He was polite and willing to do what I asked in the order I wanted it done. The first time he did work in our house he cleaned up after himself and I'm sure he would have again, but I wanted more electrical work done, which I cannot do, so I was happy to pick up after him. He also didn't mind my toddler stalking him and talking to him incessantly ever time I didn't have my eye on her. And, he said he liked that I had everything ready to go because he'd rather do the electrical stuff than unpacking boxes. Hands down I would use this company again and again."

"Self installed is the only option. System works fine for the most part though we have had problems with the motion sensor cameras. Not that I have anything against FrontPoint, but if I were replacing system, I would probably go with Simply Safe now that they have cameras."
