This project was going well until it wasn't. James came and removed the previous deck due to it sinking into the ground from being improperly installed previously and replaced it. The deck turned out great! The old deck was disposed of on the day the new top was put on and the old deck was disposed of. The large flower box was also rebuilt, but the bottom was not put in despite multiple contacts. The attached picture is what he eventually put in (multiple random boards) and will not hold dirt due to large gaps. Previous flower box had 2 2x4 as the base. There were also inappropriate text messages sent to the customer. We will be hiring someone else to complete the flower box.

I hired Gateway Services (James) to repair my rotting deck and then stain it nine months later after the wood was seasoned. In both cases, he did an excellent job. He arrived when he said he would and was conscientious about his work and communication of the promised work and cost.

I hired Gateway Services (James) to replace the floor of a very rotted deck. He came and provided a clear estimate and put in the order at Home Depot. When I paid and receive the supplies from Home Depot, James fixed the deck the following day (Sunday before Thanksgiving). Work was finished in one day and James cleared away the rubbish. Deck looks solid and everything looks good. The whole process from contact to completion was finished in about a week, for a reasonable price.

I have been trying to get a company to clean my gutters since November. No Shows Yesterday, I got on Angie List look for gutter cleaning. Angie List sent me Gateway Services, I accepted and he called. James came out this morning and cleaned my gutters.

James Dozier installed my over the range microwave. I had trouble with other installers, and when I called James he was more than willing to come and remove and re-install my microwave correctly. He was very friendly and professional. He was able to not only install the microwave, but he also put in side panels to fit on both sides of the microwave. He was able to complete the job in less than an hour, and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend him, and was planning on calling him for other projects.
