"It is hard for me to believe that we are A&E Tree's first Angie's List Review!  What an honor.  These guys did a fantastic job trimming and pruning our overgrown trees.  They have all the equipment you can imagine.  Erik and his crew were amazing, very friendly and polite.  They were very clean and despite all their hard work, they were phenomenal on the cleanup.  This was a major concern for us as we had seen many other tree services contractors in for the quick buck and left a mess.  The pricing was very competitive.  I would recommend A&# tree for all your tree trimming and tree removal / stump removal without hesitation.

"Simply professional, reliable, courteous, and generous!  I had a very tall Birch tree of which 1 of the 3 trunks stemmed over into the neighbor's driveway, cut down.  The crew extended their generosity by trimming additional branches that hung over the roof of the house...I was amazed and thrilled!  The area was in a high state of 'police' - military jargon for 'very clean'.  I would highly recommend Clark Tree Service to anyone seeking reliable and professional work.  They will even PRICE MATCH...and you can quote me on that!  Side note, I am a retired U.S MARINE Chief Warrant Officer (29 years), I'm picky, precise, accurate, and most of the time, demanding...Clark Tree Service get's a Medal for superior service, job well done!  Semper-Fidelis, CWO-4, USMC, Retired Warfighter

"I got a bid. Hired them on the spot. They took the tree down later that day. Everyone of them worked so hard. Never taking a break and our big tree was down and yard was spotless. We were very impressed. Very professional. Highly recommend them for the price and workmanship."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

If your palm tree has spots on the leaves, rotting buds, or is beginning to turn yellow, then you have a sick tree on your hands. You should contact a palm tree specialist to identify the problem and help treat the tree if possible. Preventing diseases and pests is key to a healthy palm tree, and it's essential to take action as soon as possible if your tree is showing signs of being sick.

Dead tree branches should be removed, because they can cause the tree to lose nutrients. They can also make the tree more susceptible to disease and pests. Removing dead and diseased branches can help the tree recover and increase the odds of saving a dying tree. Make sure to prune the tree correctly to avoid damaging it further.

Trees should be pruned every two to five years, depending on its age and type. Young trees should be inspected and pruned every two to three years. Mature trees should be inspected and trimmed every three to five years, and fruit trees should be pruned annually with a careful eye on seasonal growth. Evergreens typically don’t need pruning, unless branches or limbs are damaged, diseased, or harboring pests.

While the fastest way to kill a tree is to simply cut it down, there are several other methods to choose from. You should hire a professional tree removal service to cut down a tree to ensure your personal and property safety. Some slower but effective options include treating or grinding the tree stump or using a basal bark treatment.

A dead tree should always be cut down, because it could fall and cause injuries or damage, and it can also attract insects like carpenter ants. A tree that’s diseased beyond repair should also be cut down, but it’s not always easy for a homeowner to tell. Signs of disease include dying branches, a hollow trunk, leaning, and discolored or missing leaves, but your best bet is to hire a local arborist who can evaluate the tree and tell you if it can be saved or should be cut down.
