Originally doing business as Local Dad Repairs, it had at it's heart the goal of helping people in our community keep their homes repaired in hard times. Dan and Danielle Randolph were able to see the vision that we had for our home and they gave creative input that made for a very unique set of custom cabinets! They operate with the utmost attention to detail--we are so pleased with the work they've done for us! Not only did they build the cabinets that we wanted, they also took on some "unfinished" projects that we needed for our new home--fixing a set of antique corbels that we wanted to use on our covered back porch, they also converted an antique fireplace mantel into a beautiful built-in book case that is in the center of our home. Whether it’s better to screw or glue drywall depends on your specific budget and project timeline. Professional drywall installers are more likely to use screws and fasteners than adhesives, but it takes longer. Drywall installation is considerably faster and more affordable than plastering. Because plastering involves applying a wet material, it’s more time-consuming, takes longer to dry, and is more prone to cracking. It doesn’t tend to be as insulative either. If you’re looking for good soundproofing and want a high-end look in a historic home, though, plastering may be the better option.

Drywall installation costs around $2,000 on average, but some projects cost as low as $400, while larger or more complicated installations can cost $6,000 or more. The most important cost factor is the size of the room or area, as many contractors charge on a per-square-foot basis. You should also consider the complexity of the installation. If you have large, flat walls with few wall openings, you’ll pay less than if you have multiple windows and doors to cut around, corners, or curved walls.
