"We were very happy with their work. We had an older home with a foundation issue and they did such a wonderful job. They took a lot of care in making sure they did not disturb the rest of the house. Very nice guys to work with, cleaned up after themselves, very professional, and they were very hard workers."

"OK, so these guys age great.  Really good work and great humor.  They completed the Radon Mitigation even with some curve balls thrown at them.  My Radon levels went from a 7 down to a 0.03!  Outstanding service and really nice guys.   Jim is great to work with and really does provide a great atmosphere.  Glad I went with a local company."

"They were very accommodating to our needs. We are trying to get our house on the market and they were able to schedule us and then when they had a change to their schedule, they called us and were able to come out sooner and get the job done. Very neat service technician and high quality work!"

"They exceeded my expectations from start to finish. No high pressure sales pitch, just a thorough and forthright analysis of my issues. The crew was punctual and kept me updated on their progress. They left my property in better condition than when they first arrived. I had questions for the office staff and they were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone that values honesty, competence, and professionalism."

"When you hire someone to do a major project like reworking your basement so it doesn't flood, you hope that they 1. solve the problem and 2. stand by their work. Our situation was challenging in that it took a few tries and commitment to solve the problem. Acculevel stood by their work 120% which is not an exaggeration. When their initial solution unfortunately did not work as well as planned, the level of care and things they did to remedy the situation were well above and beyond what I know others would have done. They made it right and then some. It is my opinion that the challenges we faced would have occurred with ANY provider, but Acculevel kept their promise to fix our problem vs find a way to exit. A rare and refreshing character trait for the individuals and company. Highly recommend them. Thanks Nolan!"

"Told me a price which was fair and stuck to that price . He had the job done within one week. He did a front sidewalk and a concrete pad in front of garage. He brought in gravel. But before he did those things he graded the road so the slope to the garage was not so steep. We had 2 other guys work on the slope and we were not satisfied but he fixed it. Loved his work!"

"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

House Leveling questions, answered by experts

Mudjacking is your best bet for leveling concrete on a tighter budget. It’s less expensive than foam or grout mixture. For smaller, surface-level issues, you could also use a self-leveling compound, which creates an even surface over existing concrete—it’s a budget-friendly option suitable for DIY enthusiasts.

Concrete leveling is not typically covered by insurance. In some cases where the shifting concrete is caused by a natural disaster or storm, you may be able to file an insurance claim if your policy specifically covers those circumstances. In most cases, though, you’ll pay out-of-pocket for concrete leveling.

Pros often use mudjacking or polyurethane foam injection to level a sunken concrete patio. Both methods lift the slab by filling voids beneath it. After properly compacting the soil beneath it to prevent future settling, the concrete may need to be removed and re-poured for severe sinking.

Mudjacking restores level surfaces, prevents further damage, and is more cost-effective than a full replacement.

Polyjacking and mudjacking can both be effective solutions for sinking concrete, but they have key differences. Polyjacking, which uses expanding polyurethane foam, is often considered a better option because the foam is significantly lighter than the cementitious material used for mudjacking. This reduced weight puts less pressure on the underlying soil and lowers the risk of future sinking. Polyjacking is suitable for any sinking concrete slab, while mudjacking is typically only recommended for non-structural concrete, such as sidewalks, patios, pool decks, and driveways. The primary drawback of polyjacking is its cost, which can be up to four times higher than mudjacking—as much as $25 per square foot compared to a maximum of about $6 per square foot for mudjacking.
