"We had Josh Eaton, Chris Horton, and Lane McFarland working on our foundation and we had a very great experience. They worked for 3 1/2 days and were very professional. We had no cosmetic damage, we feel our experience was great. They did everything they could. Professional as well!"

"They were on time and did the job pretty quickly. After an hour that they finished the work, it rained. Until now, it's still raining so I can't say much about the quality yet. Their work was under warranty so I'll just call them if needed."

"Our basement wall had settled over five inches.  They piered the front basement wall and brought it back up to level.  The basement wall was beyond repair.   They cut a section of the back basement wall and demolished the entire back wall and poured me a new basement back wall.  Great job guys!!!

"My front walkway had sunk unevenly at either end and was at minimum a tripping hazard much less ugly to see. Due to the fact that a large koi pond was only a foot away from the walkway i was extremely skeptical of the possible damages from any type of repair / replacement of walkway, however Robert and the crew at Elevated Concrete Lifting was more than professional and took into consideration the integrity of the pond and more importantly the fish, everything was properly covered so that any debris would not contaminate the water. Not only the repairs but the crew and their professionalism far exceeded my expectations. Thank you."

Concrete Leveling questions, answered by experts

Concrete leveling is not typically covered by insurance. In some cases where the shifting concrete is caused by a natural disaster or storm, you may be able to file an insurance claim if your policy specifically covers those circumstances. In most cases, though, you’ll pay out-of-pocket for concrete leveling.

Yes, you can mudjack cracked concrete, but the cracks will need to be repaired once the concrete has been leveled. If the concrete is severely cracked in multiple places, replacement may be a better option, but for less severe cracking, mudjacking is a good solution as long as cracks are correctly caulked and sealed.

A good slump height really depends on the project, but there is a use for nearly all slump levels. For example, low slumps are best in projects that require structure, such as curbs and roads. High slumps often require additional reinforcement, but they flow more freely into hard-to-reach spaces.

A slurry of cement, sand, and water is injected beneath the concrete to lift and stabilize it.

Mudjacking typically takes 24 to 72 hours (one to three days) to dry and cure completely before you can resume normal use. The total drying time can vary depending on the size of the project. Because the slurry mixture contains cement, it needs to harden fully to prevent the concrete slab from shifting under added weight. You should avoid walking on the concrete or placing heavy items like furniture or vehicles on the surface until it has fully set. Your concrete contractor can provide a precise timeline. As a point of comparison, if you opt for polyjacking, the polyurethane foam can dry in minutes, but it's recommended to wait about an hour before use.
