"Josh did some custom carpentry work for us, as well as some very technically challenging steel tapping for a circular jig attached to a motor. He did a fantastic job. The steel tapping was something I had basically given up on ever fixing, but he was able to do it!"

"I'm an 80 yr old lady and young Tate Nowlin built us a fence exactly like we wanted. After a delay with our HOA they got the job done in 3 days as they said. We wanted quality products and installation and we got it. Thanks Tate and Logan!"

"They worked fast and cleaned up after themselves very well. We had a pretty big job for them and the weather was not ideal for them as it was voretty wet. They did an excellent job not tearing up my yard while setting the post. JL was super friendly before and after the fence was complete. He seemed very knowledgeable about what we wanted and it was a very smooth transaction."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Check with your local laws, which might state that you have to build a fence around your plunge pool. If you have children or pets or live in an area with abundant wildlife, you should consider building a fence around your pool for safety. Pools can present a drowning hazard, and while plunge pools are not very deep, younger children can get hurt if they try to dive into them. A fence can help protect your family and visitors from injury.

When your rolls of silt fence join together, you’ll want to overlap them to make sure they’re still as effective at keeping water out without requiring fastening together. Overlap two sections of the silt fencing so that two sheets of fabric cover the span of two posts. If you want to fasten them together, you can staple them or use a zip tie, depending on whether your posts are metal or wood.

You can reuse chain link fences as long as they’re in good condition. The best part—reusing it helps you make the most of the cost of a chain link fence. Whether you want to reuse it or consider asking someone to remove it for you in exchange for a free fence, it’s possible. If you can’t find a location for it in your yard, you can repurpose a chain link fence by donating it to a local animal shelter or community garden.

You can sometimes install a fence over a gas line. Fence installation typically requires a two-foot depth for posts, so if the lines are shallower than two feet, you cannot put a fence post over the line. You’ll need to call 811 to get the gas lines located and marked before you start the project.

In most cases, a fence can only be built on your property with your consent. Not obtaining permission constitutes an encroachment and a violation of your property rights. However, exceptions may apply, such as when the fence is entirely within the property boundaries of the person putting it up and the fence complies with local zoning laws and regulations. If you think a fence infringes on your property or is not up to local standards, consult with local authorities or legal experts to address the issue and protect your property rights.
