"1130 am discovered in-op fan on outside a/c unit.  called it in to office 1135 am on a saturday.they were here to a rural home and repaired it and gone in 2 1/2  hrs  pretty good for a weekend call!!!

"no heat, no money came out and did a temp. last time was temp. Called came out. put in a whole new hvac need to call back before turn on ac. They were fantastic. axel jones roscoe edwards. were here at 930 and at about 10to 1 were done and guaranteed heat woudl be back on and cleaned up. perfect."

"Matt with HvacME installed a new gas furnace and air conditioning unit for me this past fall and just recently serviced the AC in preparation for our warmer weather. Pricing was very fair and beat the verbal estimate given by a competitor by a good deal. With the new furnace, I was pleasantly surprised to have a warmer home without increasing gas usage. "I was not pleased that they had to cancel due to the minimal amount of snow we had especially when they came in a truck. However I appreciated their honesty in telling us that it was not worth it to us to repair our appliance and that we were better off getting a new washer. They could have really taken us through an ordeal, but they didn't and I was very satisfied. Honesty is the best policy."

Still, many brands offer an extension to 10 years if you register the product within a specific timeframe, typically 60 to 90 days post-purchase or HVAC installation. Over the past decade, warranty periods have substantially increased, shifting from 3-5 years in the 90s to the now-prevalent 10+ year warranties. Both warranty types cover parts failing due to manufacturer defects, incurring no additional costs. Some manufacturers provide extended warranties surpassing the usual 15- to 20-year window, though these often involve extra fees. 

Most experts recommend getting three to five HVAC quotes from licensed, insured, reputable local heating and cooling companies. Getting multiple detailed HVAC quotes (but not too many) lets you compare the equipment, services, and prices of several contractors without being overwhelmed by options. It can also let you see if one contractor’s prices are much higher or lower than the others and give you a chance to ask for clarification.
