""Basement - Remodel" doesn't really cover it for our project. We added a great room, a bedroom, and a bathroom. In other words, about half a house. I can describe the Tarantola crew's knowledge and execution, both collectively and individually, in three words: "Attention to detail". I grew up in and around commercial and residential construction and I've done some of every one of the jobs required of Tarantola for our project. I was trained to be 'picky', so I am 'picky'. And, I can honestly say that I am not only happy with what they have done, but also proud of what they did and how they did it. Since the late 80's I've built and/or remodeled homes across several states around the country. And, over time, as those projects unwound, I became increasingly convinced that the work ethic that I grew up around was dying, if not dead. John gave me a full written scope and helped me to see the possibilities in our 1954 basement with asbestos tile. In 5 weeks they transformed it into the basement of my dreams. I didn’t know it could look this good. The foreman walked us through each part of the transformation as it happened, so I know how everything works and that it was done right.
