We found him to be very responsible - showing up promptly the four different times when he said he would. He communicated well via texts or phone calls. His work on all three projects was at the absolute top quality. We found him to be highly talented - a perfectionist – taking pride as he completed each project in an efficient and timely manner. We found the bids for each project to be most reasonable - GREAT value for the money we spent. Actually, his bids were quite a bit less than we were expecting to pay. "I wanted to choose zero stars for a rating about BORDNER ROOFING OF RAYTOWN, MO. Our roof was leaking so bad we had a kidde pool in the livibg room catching rain water. I gave them a huge deposit. When it started getting too cold to roof I went to their office after they kept my huge deposit for 3 months. I told them to give me my money back & they refused. I said it will be too cold to roof it properly. They promised the shingles would lay/seal down when the sun comes out & warms them up. 3 months later in the spring the shingles didn't seal down !!! They also nailed the shingles too high !!! I met with them again a few months ago in their office & they kept saying, "We stand behind our work" THEY ARE SUCH LIARS !!! They came out a few times & put silicone or tar under some shingles that buckled up or folded back. That didn't help. 5 sections of the roof are having the same problem. This isn't acceptable !!! I had 5 companies inspect the roof & they all said it was very bad workmanship, it was too cold & the shingles were nailed too high !!! I contacted the BBB & Bordner lied to them & BBB closed the case. I have photos, documents & video to prove my case !!! They damaged my home, my gutters, my lawn, some plants, they took 21 days to do the roof...other roofers said it shouldn't have taken more than a week. ☆☆☆☆DON'T HIRE BORDNER☆☆☆☆"

"Our project with Joe went absolutely spectacularly! From the planning, to the start date, to demo, to the painting and installs. Communication outstanding all along the way. We had some supply chain delay issues (vendor related), and Joe did a fine job mitigating any slowdowns. We are **** happy with our results and will use him again. I am almost hesitant to give him this glowing review because I am afraid y'all will steal him from us!? Really, you should use Joe. Your house will thank you."

"Hired this person because of his Angie rating and reviews. Was very specific about NOT SUBCONTRACTING THE JOB. I was told specifically he would do the job himself . Jason was dishonest and subcontracted the job to two illegals non English speaking individual's from Colombia. They did sub rate job didn't caulk the cracks or corners and had to be called back to repair many paint issues and apply the hardware back on. They sprayed the cabinet's in my garage and got paint on the floor everywhere!! My brand new kitchen floor of 3 weeks old has a lot paint sprayed on it they did not protect the floor as they should of. My new stove has paint of the top dripped and dried on it....The entire job list also included some tile work and applying thresholds which was part of the original contract still isn't finished and Jason has had 11 scheduled appts to complete the job 5 of these were NO call no shows. All documented on my texts and emails. I cant recommend this person . Don hire him."
