The home inspector who did the inspection was very thorough and managed to also give us other useful pointers which helped out. In the end, the final report we got was a bit oversold on what it would look like and be used for (the remediator gave us the same recommendation without us spending the money to get this), but it gave us the piece of mind that it wasn't the result of the new roof, so I'd have to say the value was there. The only issue I had was a scheduling snafu which made me have to reschedule, which really extended the time it took to get this completed. I would recommend hiring them, though."
