Using lighting controls on motion-sensor lights allows you to set the brightness, how long the light stays on, and on the luxurious end, even where to aim the light. However, these controls are considered a premium, so prepare to pay at least an extra $50.

When it comes to eye health, warm light is much better for you than cool light. Cool light is harsher on the eyes and causes strain. If you’re working in cool light, you may want to consider wearing blue-light glasses to protect your eyes.
