We have a maintenance agreement with Anthony’s, so there was no charge for the check up. The replacement of the humidifier water panel was $87.00. That included parts, labor, and tax."

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"Prior to calling Bob, we had several guys come in to give us estimates. Bob's estimate was by far the best and the work he did was top quality. He and his guys moved my existing furnace to a new location int he basement and installed a new AC. They also moved the hot water heater. I am very pleased with his service. They were prefessional and respectful. Bob is a straight shooter. Absolutely no BS! I will be using him for ALL of my future HVAC needs. "The owner, Larry, came out to assess a problem I was having with pipes freezing on cold, windy nights. He inspected the basement, first, and second floors and was confident that the problem was a 1 foot by 1 foot chase that ran along an exterior wall. The job was small and he said he could reuse some materials to get it done economically. This was a relief because other companies wouldn't even take the job because it was too small. The crew came out the next Saturday morning and was very professional. They put down plastic to protect the floors and furniture, worked quickly, and cleaned up when they were done. A few nights later, we had another cold night and unfortunately the pipes froze again. I emailed Larry and he said he was getting a thermal imaging camera and would like to take another look. At every appointment, I received a call letting me know they were on their way, which I appreciated. He came out and saw some cold spots and scheduled another appointment - they didn't charge a trip charge like the bigger companies. Larry personally oversaw the next appointment and when they drilled another hole in the drywall, they found that the first insulation job was done correctly. This led to another section of the pipe. They had to pull back a corner of carpet in a closet and drill a small hole. Using a scope camera, Larry was confident that this new area was the remaining problem. They quickly filled the cavity, patched up and then cleaned up. Larry refused to take any money for the second job saying that he was confident the first work would fix the problem. I thought this went above and beyond what was necessary and showed a true commitment to professionalism and customer service. Needless to say, I would not hesitate to use them for future work."

"These guys are awesome! We've used them for the 20-some years we've lived in Lee's Summit. They are always responsive and punctual. They get the issue fixed the first time without me having to call them back. Pleasant and professional. Quality work. Their rates are reasonable. We have purchased air conditioners twice from them and furnace once. They did all the paperwork for the rebates for us. I called them last week because the air conditioner didn't seem to be cooling properly. He spent about an hour looking for the problem, didn't see anything broken, but cleaned out an extremely dirty condenser - which fixed the problem and we've been cool ever since."

"I called Tap Heating and Cooling early Sunday afternoon.  John was at the house within an hour.  He explained to me what the problem was and how it could be fixed.  He left to go get parts and was back within the hour like he said.  He assured me he wasn't leaving until I had heat.  When he left I had heat.  Thank you John.  In the future Tap has won my business.  Nothing but professionalism, honesty, and courteousness was shown.  Great customer service.  You will be hearing from me in the near future.

"I had a pretty big move--a large house with a fair amount of heavy, expensive stuff. First the good. They were honest and polite, and they successfully moved 98% of our stuff without damage. The bad is that when I originally talked to them on the phone, they were overally optimistic about how fast it would be and made a quote based upon what I verbally told them and some photos from the home listing. They promised that as an Agie's List customer they would give me their most attentive service. They would put protectors on my doors, would wrap all of my furniture with blankets and plastic wrap, and would be utterly professional. In the end, they needed 75 blankets. They showed up with a bundle of about 15. They also showed up with only two dollies, one of which didn't have rubber tires on the plastic wheels and scratched up the hard-wood floor of my house. They didn't realize they were damaging the house until I pointed it out to them. They tried to put some blankets on the floor to protect it, but they didn't have any tape to hold the blankets in place. Rather than getting the equipment they needed to properly move my things, they decided to make due with what they had. The result is some of my furniture got damaged. For example, we have several wall hangings and paintings, and they stacked them all next to each other in the truck like library books. Some of the metal hangings damaged some of the paintings and wood frames. The worst, probably, is that they were completely out of blankets when they loaded my expensive wood dining room table, and they put it on its end on the bare metal of the moving truck, with the bare surface of the table scratching against the wall of the truck. See photo. How could a professional laod an expensive dining room table like this without KNOWING it would be damaged? The individuals responsible felt terrible for what happened, and they discussed how to make sure it wouldn't happen again. And, they gave me a big discount that should be enough to fix the damage. But still, the overall experience was frustrating. Having said all that, I think they'd do better next time. But in general I'd trust these guys more with a moderate sized move than a big move with lots of expensive things."
