"Jim responded promptly to my order placed on Angie's List for the Remote Computer Tune Up & Repair Deal.  He cleaned up the computer remotely, which was running very slowly, and required frequent re-boots.  Computer is running much faster now.  Great service.  Would highly recommend.

"Both the owner Doug & Carlos the employee were very professional with me on the phone asking what I needed done. Carlos came over and gave me a reasonable estimate on the work I needed done. A few days later Carlos came back and did ALL the work in just a few hours. He repaired the large window frame by building it up and painted the entire frame. Then he fixed up an area under the gutter-afterwards I couldn't even see where the original damage was. Also he did some paint touch-ups on some small areas where some paint had peeled off. Other companies I've hired in the past would've taken several days and numerous employees to do all the work Carlos did it all by himself. I was very impressed and told him that we would be hiring him again-in fact we just called him to do some more work this weekend.I will be letting my neighbors know about this great company!"

"Sean and his assistant did a thorough and effective job of cleaning the windows. They arrived a few minutes early, explained how they would tackle the various tasks, were extremely courteous and communicative throughout the day. They noticed paint on the windows, so they notified us what would be involved if they had to clean off the paint and allowed us to decide how to proceed. They moved furniture away from the windows, then moved it back after completing the inside of the windows. They also notified us about a couple of screens that required additional cleaning and showed us how to clean them ourselves to save money. They hung the Christmas lights after ensuring all were operational and safe. They cleaned out the gutters and bagged the waste. The job took them longer than expected due to buildup on the windows, but they willingly continued until everything was sparkling. While their estimate seemed high, it was less than others. In the end, we were very pleased with the results."

"Ed has cleaned my gutters, including some repair, work several times and always gets the job done quickly. This time, in addition to gutter cleaning, he came up with a simple solution to repair a gate on my backyard fence. He was able to replace several boards and put on a clasp to hold the gate closed so that I did not have to replace the entire gate. He charged a reasonable price and got the work done very quickly."

Screen Repair questions, answered by experts

You can trim an overhead garage door screen to fit your garage door opening. This is a particularly helpful hack if you have an irregularly sized garage door opening but are still interested in installing a garage door screen to keep pests and debris out. Trim the garage door screen carefully to avoid unsightly edges or an uneven fit.

Whether you should repair or replace a screen door depends on the type and extent of the damage. It is easy and economical to repair a small tear in the mesh using a widely available DIY patch kit. However, if there are large tears, multiple damaged spots, or if the screen is made of a specialized material, replacing the entire screen mesh might be a better long-term investment for a tidier appearance. You should also consider the condition of the frame; if the frame itself is damaged, it's likely time to replace the entire door. Other factors to weigh include whether you want a new style or need a more durable door.

There are many ways to customize screens, including customizing frame colors and mesh styles to complement your home’s aesthetic.

Yes, you can replace the screen without removing the door in most cases depending on the frame holding the screen. Doors with removable spline and screen frames make it a snap to replace the mesh while the door remains in place. The best part is that it’s a simple DIY project requiring a few tools in addition to the screen material.

The most affordable way to screen in a porch is to add a base track system to an existing wooden frame. The whole process should cost around $2,000 for supplies, depending on the size of your porch. It’s much pricier to build a screened-in porch or sunroom from scratch—and you’ll probably need to hire a contractor for a project like that.
