"I wanted to choose zero stars for a rating about BORDNER ROOFING OF RAYTOWN, MO. Our roof was leaking so bad we had a kidde pool in the livibg room catching rain water. I gave them a huge deposit. When it started getting too cold to roof I went to their office after they kept my huge deposit for 3 months. I told them to give me my money back & they refused. I said it will be too cold to roof it properly. They promised the shingles would lay/seal down when the sun comes out & warms them up. 3 months later in the spring the shingles didn't seal down !!! They also nailed the shingles too high !!! I met with them again a few months ago in their office & they kept saying, "We stand behind our work" THEY ARE SUCH LIARS !!! They came out a few times & put silicone or tar under some shingles that buckled up or folded back. That didn't help. 5 sections of the roof are having the same problem. This isn't acceptable !!! I had 5 companies inspect the roof & they all said it was very bad workmanship, it was too cold & the shingles were nailed too high !!! I contacted the BBB & Bordner lied to them & BBB closed the case. I have photos, documents & video to prove my case !!! They damaged my home, my gutters, my lawn, some plants, they took 21 days to do the roof...other roofers said it shouldn't have taken more than a week. ☆☆☆☆DON'T HIRE BORDNER☆☆☆☆"

"It did not go well at all. He's a nice guy. He continually ran out of money through the project and kept forwarding money on the contract and then finally he just didn't ever show up and did not complete the project. I tried to contact him several times but he did not respond. So basically we're out of money from whatever we had paid him. I just wanted people to be aware of that."

"Wow, my shower is gorgeous! My experience with Transcendent Home Solutions was five stars all the way. Zach was prompt, personable and knowledgeable. There was a delay in shipping the materials, through no fault of THS. Page was the installer, and he was awesome - very particular about his work and nice as can be. He spotted a flaw in the shower base and another one had to be ordered. Again, through no fault of THS. He did a great job - above and beyond! The project took longer than expected, but it was understandable. I'm thrilled with the way everything turned out, and I definitely recommend THS to anyone looking for a shower upgrade."

"My husband and I highly recommend Roger King, aka, The Handy Man, for ANY of your home improvement needs! Roger was a God send when we had issues with our Florida home due to water damage in our kitchen and master bath. Once the mitigation was done and pipes were fixed, Roger came to our rescue and restored and remodeled our home. He replaced the drywall in the kitchen, bath, and garage. Took out a fireplace which we never used to make a nook for our stove and cabinets which he ordered and installed from a picture in a catalog! He ordered the cabinets, counters, kitchen island and hardware. The cabinets are beautiful and I no longer have blind cabinets that I can’t use. Roger also did electrical work in the kitchen by relocating outlets, light switches and the stove outlet. He provided us samples of flooring and again took care of all the details. The finishing touch to our new kitchen was the installation of new LED lights. Thanks to Roger and his team, we love our home again! The Handy Man and his team are the best! They are courteous, dependable, hard-working and honest. Roger was a blessing during our time of need."
