"Jay & his crew neatly & professionally cut large limbs from a large walnut tree that had grown over my roof. The job was completed without damaging the tree, my roof, yard & landscaping. The crew even cut up the limbs for my firewood pile, & left me a great pile of mulch for my landscape. I will definitely be using Jay's Firewood & Mulch, LLC again. 5 star service at an affordable price."

"Jay's Firewood & Mulch, LLC did a fantastic job! Jay & his crew had all the necessary equipment for removing large tree limbs that had grown over the roof of my house. The crew was very careful to not damage the old majestic tree, as well as taking care not to damage my roof, yard or existing landscaping. The turnaround time after accepting the very affordable bid was quick. Jay & his crew also neatly stacked the wood for my fireplace, as well as providing a very large mulch pile for my landscape. I highly recommend Jay's Firewood & Mulch, LLC, & I plan on using them again. 5 stars all the way!!"

"Mr. Baumann was relatively punctual in responding to my phone call for an appointment (given that it was summer and a prime season for tree work). He came out to the house within a few days, assessed the work, gave the price and estimated when the team would be out to do the work. His crew was very efficient, did exactly as planned and cleaned up completely. We were very satisfied with the entire experience. They even trimmed so that the remaining branches on our side were rather artfully cut --- not an electric company straight line."

"Onyx Tree Service!!! Where to even start?? If I could give 100 stars I would. Austin and his crew were very professional and personable. Jessica was very responsive in keeping me posted on the schedule and just a pleasure to work with. Austin and crew did a fantastic job cleaning up my huge sycamore and removing a few arborvitaes and a crazy overgrown "thing" in my backyard. Trees don’t usually grow back after being cut down. Some particularly robust tree species may start sending up new stems from a stump to recover, but those stems won’t become a “tree” like before. While you may have the right to trim branches that cross into your yard, the fruit on them typically still belongs to your neighbor. However, laws can vary by state and municipality. In some areas, branches that extend into your yard or trees that straddle a property line may entitle you to some of the fruit. The best course of action is to speak with your neighbor, as they may be happy to share. If a conversation is not possible, check your local regulations before picking any fruit.

While there is a lot of debate about whether boiling water is strong enough to kill tree roots, it is not best to remove the roots from large, old trees. You may be able to weaken young roots enough to remove them manually, but boiling water will likely not do the trick for large root systems.
