Been in the handyman field for a while with some experience in deck building, siding, trim(interior and exterior), backsplash and tile work as well. Ive done some plumbing and garage door services and now for full time I build high end metal building! Quality and ingenuity is always in mind so you or the next customer loves their long term project!

"Jim gave a very competitive bid, and did exactly as I wanted. He replaced a retaining wall and replaced some over grown landscaping in the front yard. He rocked the landscaping and put some of the rock from the old wall in the landscaping. The guys also added rock at the bottom of the driveway to make it look nicer. Jim was very accommodating with scheduling, and handled a drain that ran down the wall at no additional cost to me. I will definitely use him again!"

"I hired Prestige to come to my house for a consultation. Bill walked through my yard with me and offered comments and suggestions. He was very knowledgable and polite. He listened to what I wanted and gave useuful suggestions. As part of the consultation fee, he provided me with a sketch of the yard with his suggestions for plantings and care. The sketch was very comprehensive and included appropriate suggestions to fit my needs and yard."

Outdoor Kitchens questions, answered by experts

Outdoor kitchens enhance entertainment space, increase home value, and provide convenient cooking in outdoor settings.

The cost to build an outdoor kitchen averages around $15,500, but prices can range widely from $5,000 to over $52,000 depending on the project's complexity and features. Many projects fall within the $5,000 to $30,000 range. Since outdoor kitchens are highly customizable, several key factors influence the total cost, including the size and layout of the area, the quality of materials for countertops and cabinets, the number and type of appliances, the need for site preparation like land leveling or a foundation, and whether new utility lines are required.

DIY is possible for small setups, but professional services ensure proper gas, plumbing, and electrical work.

Yes, if you’ve got the skills and patience, you can build your own outdoor kitchen. Outdoor kitchen kits are available in various levels of completion. You can build your own outdoor kitchen simply by matching your DIY skill level with an appropriate kitchen kit, or if you’re already a pro, you can create a complete custom design from your imagination.

No. Placing a built-in grill against the house is discouraged due to safety concerns. Building codes and regulations often require a minimum distance (typically 10 feet or more) between a gas grill and any combustible structure, including a house. Placing a grill too close poses a fire hazard and risks damage to the siding or structure, potentially leading to carbon monoxide buildup. It's essential to consult local building codes, follow manufacturer guidelines, and prioritize safety by positioning the grill at a safe distance, ideally in a well-ventilated outdoor kitchen or designated grill area.
