We are a family owned and operated business. We pride ourselves in customer satisfaction. We are licensed and insured for your protection. Serving all of Greater Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas.

"I hired Golden's Plumbing for a new toilet installation. The plumber, Gabe, misinstalled a toilet that I had purchased from the Home Depot. He then charged me for a 2nd toilet installation, again misinstalled, and I had to hire another plumbing company to install the toilet correctly."

"Do not hire!! Made a complete mess in my basement & couldn’t fix the repair. Waited hours for the “supervisor” (Jordan) to come with a camera. Jordan overcharged me by $100 (on top of $4600 charge for the work they did attempt). When i continued to follow up with him on the reimbursement, he now claims that he undercharged me and i owe them $300 on top. Terrible customer service and total scam. Would not recommend."

Lowe’s has been helping our customers improve the places they call home for more than 60 years. Founded in 1946, Lowe’s has grown from a small hardware store to the second-largest home improvement retailer worldwide. Our story began in North Carolina, when Carl Buchan, part owner of the North Wilkesboro Hardware Company, envisioned creating a chain of hardware stores. He purchased the company from his brother-in-law and partner and had the foresight to anticipate a post-World War II building boom. By eliminating wholesalers and dealing directly with manufacturers, Lowe’s established a lasting reputation for low prices. Sales grew over time and we expanded all across the country and now operate stores not only in the United States, but also in Canada and Mexico. Although times have changed since Lowe’s first opened its doors in 1946, Lowe’s values have not— the company remains committed to offering high-quality home improvement products at everyday low prices, while delivering superior customer service. "I placed an order online for more than $5,000 worth of kitchen remodeling supplies, which might be chump change to Lowe's but certainly isn't to me. The total was more than my bank would authorize without permission from me, so once I got it, Lowe's was supposed to debit the account THAT DAY. Did they? No, they waited a few days and the transaction got declined again. So what did they do? They CANCELED THE ORDER without even trying to contact me. I spent innumerable occasions on the phone at the store and on the 800 line, neither of which ever get answered by human beings and both of which involve interminable hold times and annoying recorded messages about how IMPORTANT your call is to them. Then their logistics people only brought me HALF of the order, although they charged me for all of it, of course. More time on the phone. Trying to split the order in half so it would go through my bank without permission. Trying to get the half they hadn't brought delivered with what was left. This involved GOING TO THE STORE IN PERSON to re-order the canceled items. Then they failed to show up three days in a row. Fortunately I'm working from home, but that doesn't make a difference to me. I'm sitting here right now, having received a text from logistics telling me they were one minute away ... twenty minutes ago ... and just before receiving the text I saw the truck DRIVE PAST MY HOUSE. Apparently reading street addresses isn't on the list of required vocational skills for their drivers. I'm on hold with the logistics call center, which is neither a toll free number NOR answered by a human being, with insipid piano music and intermittent assurances of how IMPORTANT my call is to them, even though they've left me on hold for more than ten minutes. Suffice it to say that once this order is finally delivered, Lowe's will never see another dime from me, ever, even on things I can carry out of their store myself. They obviously don't care enough about their customers to be worth bothering with."

Playground Equipment questions, answered by experts

The average lifespan for a playset is around eight to ten years, but you can probably make it last to 15 years with good weather conditions and proper maintenance. If you’re purchasing a pre-made playset, some brands offer warranties for up to 25 years—long after your kiddos are grown.

Whether or not you need a building permit for a playground depends on where you live. Some municipalities will require a permit for the construction of any playground equipment while others will only mandate one if you use a concrete foundation for any portion of the equipment. You can check with your local building department or a professional playground installer to see if your project requires a permit. Some municipalities also require a fence if you have a playground, and fence construction will almost always require a building permit.

Yes! It’s always a good idea to anchor your playset. Even though they’re heavy, it doesn’t take much wind to blow one over. Anchoring everything to the ground makes it a lot safer for your kiddos.

For artificial turf that’s the most durable, look for heat-resistant products with thicker blades. Keep in mind that there’s a difference between artificial grass versus artificial turf, with turf consisting of a shorter look while artificial grass is longer and more closely resembles real grass.

Choosing a suitable backyard playset that’s age-appropriate and entertaining for your children is worth the cost. A backyard playset you can update and upgrade as your kids grow offers even more benefits. Although a playset won’t substantially increase your home’s value, it won’t negatively affect it either.
