"After getting a bid from Cady this summer, I hired them to do some work on my house (clean gutters, install gutter covers I'd purchased and fix a piece of siding). They agreed to do the work on September 10 at 1:00 p.m. They didn't show, and they didn't return my calls over the next couple of days. I felt they wasted my time. I gave them an F rating here and moved on to look for other handyman companies. Except that finding another company turned out to be easier said than done (the ones I contacted didn't serve my area or didn't want to do work on a 2-story house or were booked for months). A week later, my contact at Cady called to apologize. He said he'd gone out of town and the people back at the office dropped the ball. He offered to do the work for a reduced fee. I hadn't hired another company and was starting to wonder if I'd find one before winter, so I agreed to hire them. Two workers showed up as promised on September 21. They did a great job and were knowledgeable and personable. My husband and I were very happy with the work, and we would hire them again.

"Hal was very willing to try his hand at our chicken coop and met with us several times to understand the design that we wanted. Being that this was Hal's first coop he went above and beyond to educate himself on the basics of coop design and took into account all the aspects our girls would need to have a safe and comfortable home. He even designed an ingenious way for cleaning out the coop, by installing a trap door on the bottom on the coop that we could pull out for cleaning. Hal constructed our coop and delivered it to our property in only a few weeks. He even went to the trouble of installing it in our backyard so that my husband and I did not need to maneuver it over our fence. The coop also compliments our fence and was built with the same material so that both with age well together. The coop passed the inspection with the city of St. Paul and during stong storms this summer has kept our girls safe and dry."

Initially we contacted him to replace some 65yr old windows, and he was the only contractor to bring to our attention that we had hail damage on the window wraps, siding, gutters, and roof. His experience really helped us thru the insurance claim process and it ended up being a huge cost savings for us. "The company was referred to my daughter by one of her coworker. Initially my daughter's primary interest was to have her popcorn ceiling scraped and replaced with knock down ceiling. She also wanted painting done in her lower level. After visiting with owners she learned that they had Handyman experience and had very good ideas. she ask if the could remodel her bathroom. They removed the old tile floor in the bathroom, replaced with new tile, removed the old vanity and plumbing and replaced with new. They were very friendly and easy to communicate with. They didn't talk over her head and were very creative with ideas and solutions. May daughter has already agreed to hire them for other "Handyman" projects in her home as will I in my home."

"Entire process went well.  Each and every time I communicated with Paramount, I got a quick and professional response.  They were able to answer questions regarding how to deal with my bar height overhang and creatively able to utilize invisible bracket supports to prevent the need for some type of external bracket or corbel support.
The price was competitive and the bid very detailed so I was able to make sure I was comparing apples to apples.  I especially appreciated the extra time and effort they put in to figure out how to eliminate two seams on the island countertops without an extra charge required.
Once we decided to go with Paramount, they directed me to a couple of granite wholesalers to choose the slabs, once the slabs were at Paramount, I stopped out to discuss the layout with them.   Bryan did the measuring, on a Monday and a week and a half later on a Wed. the countertops were installed.  Entire process less than two weeks.
Lisa's communication through the entire process was professional and always very timely.  
Installation went as planned with the install crew dealing with the invisible brackets with some creative problem solving.  Entire install took 4 hours for all 7 pieces.  Looks great and they look beautiful!  Would highly recommend to friends and family and would use them for future projects.
