"On July 1st (2021), Mel and Stephan from Innovative Basement Authority dug a 30'x18" trench by hand to bury our sump pump discharge pipe. They installed a freeze valve, 30' of 5" PVC, and a discharge grate, exactly where we asked to place it. They had to dig right next to the garage foundation, so this was no easy feat. They also made short work of removing a 4'x4' concrete pad for us. The guys were very courteous, punctual, and seriously hard-working. They did an exceptional job, and in just half a day, I was able to check 1 more item off my honey-do list! Clint arrived on time for our sales call. He was prepared with information and samples and provided guidance when needed.  We wanted to think about the purchase, since it was an expensive shade option - he did try really hard to get us to make a decision before he left.  I wasn't crazy about that - it felt pushy.  Clint was very upfront about the cost being more than most awning companies, but he did all the measuring and the product is a quality product.  We liked the product and the Angie's List discount that was offered, so we called him back within a couple of weeks and made the purchase. 

The installers arrived on time and were very careful to remove all the deck furniture before starting work. They cleaned up after themselves and put the furniture back when finished.

Our awning is quite large - 30 feet long.  It does a great job of shading our deck and looks very nice.  It's motorized; the wind sensor is great since it almost takes care of itself. We would definitely get an awning again and would recommend this company

"We had Simstone replace an existing 3 car garage floor. The first day, they removed the floor and prepped it for a new pour. At the same time they removed an 8 ft.apron area of the driveway as well as an existing side walk leading to my front steps. They also set up forms for an overlay of the front step. The next day they poured the garage floor and front step. They came back on the 3rd day and did the apron and side walk. They were fast and efficient. The job they did looks great. They were all very personable and courteous. They cleaned up the entire area where they worked. Would definitely recommend them."
