As soon as he came, he very professionally measured all areas of the decking, noticed any problem areas and was very very understanding when I advised that we were under time pressure and the we needed the decking to be safe for when my mom returned from hospital, Stephen was here to do the job and finish the job....giving priority as needed for her safety. Pricing was very fair and Stephen was a consumate professional and I would readily recommend him to anyone needed decking work done. Thank you Stephen, this will not be the last you hear from us."

The crew was 2 brothers that always started later in the morning (because "they were coming from up by St. Cloud down to Mpls"). Overall, the finished project is great. Just small nits on communication."

"The entire process was a fiasco. Mike and his team built our deck without checking the ledger board or apparently using a level. Our deck started to sag in the middle and we called his team out to look at it. They did a quick fix which did not resolve the issue. We called Mike and had a brief discussion, and he told us, "I don't know what to tell you". He then hung up on us. We eventually got him to come back out. He had an attitude the entire time. His crew admitted to not checking the ledger board. Our deck is lower on one end and has several areas of buckling. Mike had nothing but excuses. One of his team members offered a solution. They worked on it and left without asking for feedback. Mike never followed up. The deck is still out of whack and we are not satisfied. They also don't use hidden fasteners so there are holes in our no maintenance decking. Mike was completely rude and unprofessional. They built our deck wrong and he made us, the customer, feel like the bad people. His crew also took the dirt from the footings and threw it under our arborvitae bushes. I had to dig it all out by hand. There are a lot of deck builders. Do you research. I wish we had."
