"I rank Landson Construction #1 in the list of contractors we have hired in our 40 years of home ownership. Ari and his team of subcontractors recently completed a challenging remodel of one of our bathrooms--challenging because it is a very small area with limited space. Their finished job looks better than our separate remodel of a larger bathroom completed by one of the big firms that advertises daily on television. Examples: the tile work in our small shower is exceptional, and the vanity/oversized sink is a perfect match that does not dominate the small room. Contractor made repeated draws on labor charges; stopped showing up when draws exceeded contracted labor fee. He collected state sales tax but has no tax permit on file with TX Comptroller’s Office. Posted photos on Facebook of other projects he was doing while he told us he had to quarantine due to COVID exposure. "Not impressed. The saleman was great, didn't get to deal with him again. They called to schedule the install they said between 8-10AM, the workers showed up around 3PM, which was difficult since they didn't speak any english. The contractor showed up about a half hour later with no explanation or call for the delay. I cancelled a meeting to be there. They said they would be on site the whole time and have a QA after, once the balance was paid they disappeared. I just happened to see the work truck leave, without any notice. Went outside, had to move everything back in place that they said they would do. Picked up a pieces of metal and nails all around the house, still have several on top of the clear roof of pergola. Just disapointed with the amount Debella charges, you should get more for you $. Could have gone cheaper or done it myself, but the salesman was good. DeBella says customer service is #1...not so much."
