We hired Aaron to install a washer/dryer unit. After the installation, the inspector informed us that the job was not completed up to code. Aaron took zero responsibility for this issue, told us it was not his fault for not knowing the proper code, and asked us to pay for the additional work needed to bring it up to code (he got us a quote on the work that still needed to be done). Only after some negotiation did he offer to cover PART of the additional cost. We agreed to his terms and, in return, asked him for assistance in coordinating with the contractor who gave him the quote because we weren’t exactly sure what needed to be remedied. He didn’t respond to our request for nearly six weeks. After a reminder email, he immediately rescinded his offer to pay for part of the additional work and declined to refer us to a contractor. He has since “removed himself from the project” and has left us with an incomplete installation as we approach the middle of winter. Unfortunately, we found him to be unprofessional and cannot recommend his services. We’ll be looking elsewhere for future plumbing projects.

Tyler & Aaron did a fantastic job! It seems almost rare to have a large project finished on time - and on budget - but Visionary accomplished it. Received a few bids for the project - but Aaron actually fixed one of our issues while he was out giving us an estimate for the project. (The other two plumbing companies simply added it to their estimate.) When asked what I owed for the fix - he said it was easy and there wasn't a charge for it! Knew right then, without a doubt, that Aaron was the correct person for our project. If you're looking for a company that is professional & honest - (and not afraid of spiders) - then you can't go wrong if you choose Visionary.

I'm satisfied with the work Visionary recently did on my home. Aaron appears to be a skilled plumber and was responsive to our needs. He's likable and I trust him in my home. His bid appeared to be competitive with the other two firms we looked at so we went with him based on his availability being a bit better for us. The reason I give three stars instead of five is because of pricing. I was surprised to find that they installed PEX instead of copper which is less costly and less labor intensive. The other two bids were stated copper but as neither copper nor PEX was listed on Aaron's bid and was not talked about during the walk through, I mistakenly assumed it was going to be copper based on it being in the ball park of the other bids. Had I known it was PEX up front, I wouldn't have hired them. The images on their website all show copper and I didn't think to ask though I know I talked about sweating the fittings. I don't think Aaron intended to be deceptive, just that he, like the rest of us, cuts costs where he can so long as the finished product is good. Bottom line - be as detailed as possible when working with any contractor. It will help avoid disappointment.

Went very well. We started to hook up the sinks and ran into problems. Aaron was able to come over the same afternoon and get both sinks working. He took care of everything in about an hour. He is very easy to work with and I would call him again.

Aaron is a lifesaver! He will do whatever he can to get to you timely. He goes out of his way for his customers. He is friendly and honest. You will not be disappointed.

I have used Aaron on several occasions fixing an array of plumbing problems in an older home in Como Park. He has always been prompt in returning calls and has been able to fit me in on fairly short notice.  He always arrived on time and ready to take on any kind of plumbing project.  Aaron's bids have been more than reasonable and he has never deviated from the estimate submitted.
Aaron is very helpful in explaining the work required and the amount of time the project will take to complete.  He also did a major plumbing project on an addition to my brother's south Minneapolis home. 
He is truly a very nice person in addition to being a very competent plumber.
 

The toilets were installed, no major issues and the toilets were difficult to install (one piece, dual flush). I was disappointed that one of the toilets was not centered and the other had the dual flush installed backward. It was easy to fix but I would expect those things to be checked. Also, I requested a quote for a bathtub replacement and new tile for shower walls and floor, FYI, came in at $6,000 plus tub, parts and tile. I'm only including that because I like to get an idea of what people charge when looking at reviews.

I hired Aaron on two occassions and found him to be very responsive. Showed up on time and completed repairs timely. He was also helpful with tips/tricks in other areas where I needed help. I also called him for advise on other unrelated items that he was very helpful on.

Leaky pipe is fixed. Aaron is an honest, reliable provider and I wouldn't hesitate to contact him again.

I love this guy. He is personable and helpful. Communicates.

Aaron came in and installed a shutoff valve for our exterior hose faucet. There was only about 18" of line exposed, it was sandwiched between a floor joist and a duct and there were four romex lines running across the opening. He did the job quickly and without issue in a very tight overhead space. He laid down quilted protective covers and cleaned up well. Then he installed a new shower/bath valve, faucet controls, spout and shower head. We figured he'd have to cut through the sheetrock for access. He did all the work through the six inch hole in the wall without having to break open the wall behind the shower. He again protected everything and cleaned up. When he was done, the price was considerably lower than he originally quoted. I highly recommend Aaron.

Aaron is an expert plumber and is very well versed in the equiptment he installs. He warranties the equiptment and work himself. He got the job done quickly and efficiently. He cleaned up afterwards. He uses and recommends high quality products.

I had water coming through the ceiling from a leaking drain. Aaron came over right away, laid down some tarp, cut a hole in the ceiling to access the plumbing. Found the leaking drain pipe and sealed it. After the job he cleaned up all the mess.

On two previous occasions over the years, sewer cleaners had told me that they could not get through to clean the drain because the pipe was broken below my concrete floor. Visionary Plumbing was working near a friends house in So. Mpls and I inquired about his interest in working on my project? The answer was affirmative and he personally came to give an estimate that same afternoon. I then received a written estimate by email that evening. Very prompt. The estimate seemed fair and was very competitive with two other estimates I had received. We agreed on a start date a week later and Aaron and his assistant arrived, even a little ahead of the promised start time. After they placed a protective canvas cover over the full length of the carpeted basement stairs, work started. Aaron was super friendly and took time to communicate clearly about what he was up to and seemed happy to answer my questions as I "inspected" the work during the day. The total project took a full day for two workers and Aaron came back the following morning to add a couple of clamps he was short from the day before. The work area was nicely cleaned-up on completion. I was very pleased with the quality of the work and would gladly hire Aaron Speak and Visionary Plumbing again. I have already recommended him to a few friends.
