"In the end the work was excellent. The first technician did not do a complete cleaning of the fireplace. Although he vacuumed and cleaned the glass, he did not remove the logs nor did he remove the lava rocks. He also did not turn off the gas to check the pilot, etc. per manual instructions. And he did not vacuum the rug of some of the dirt from vacuum. I called the owner and explained the situation. He apologized and we rescheduled with the most experienced technician. I also asked if they would clean the refrigerator coils as an additional service. He said yes and would charge $59 for the fridge. Jesse and Chris did an complete fireplace cleaning, removed the lava rocks and replaced them with fireplace wool, reinstalled the logs, and checked the pilot light, etc. He also went over some of the fire place control operation. Additionally they vacuumed the rug before they went on to clean the fridge: vacuumed, air hosed, wiped floors, walls and all sides of fridge. I am pleased with their work and would highly recommend Jesse and Chris. I respectfully suggest the company does retraining with the first tech."

The gentleman who came out to perform the initial inspection provided a great option that allowed me to get a larger insert for less money by going with a standard surround instead of custom (what was initially quoted in the store). I obtained three quotes and Fireside was the cheapest. They also provided the best option for routing the gas line, compared to the other quotes I received. "We have two furnaces that needed a tune up.  They found some major things that needed to be fix that ended up being life saving. One had a bad exchanger and the other furnace had a new line put in because the duct work was too small to run the furnace.  It was going out every three minutes due to over heating and probably would have only lasted a year. He was very thorough and showed us everything that needed to be fixed.  He even showed us pictures and had his project manager come back the next day to go over what he did to make sure his recommendations were correct. He was good and they even gave us coupon for free tune ups which saved us a couple hundred dollars."

"Called on a Monday and set up a Friday appointment. Thursday called and said he would be here after noon. Friday he called and said around 4pm and then about 6pm he said he can't make it until Saturday, Then on Saturday he said he couldn't make it until after noon. He finally showed up at 4:30.pm. He needed to shut off the main in order to work on the new gas line. But he forgot to reset the pilots (hot water heater, fireplace etc.) after his work was done. He did give me a reduced rate, but it could have been better. Because I supplied the Regulator, tubing, fitting, Gas range hook up."
