"On July 1st (2021), Mel and Stephan from Innovative Basement Authority dug a 30'x18" trench by hand to bury our sump pump discharge pipe. They installed a freeze valve, 30' of 5" PVC, and a discharge grate, exactly where we asked to place it. They had to dig right next to the garage foundation, so this was no easy feat. They also made short work of removing a 4'x4' concrete pad for us. The guys were very courteous, punctual, and seriously hard-working. They did an exceptional job, and in just half a day, I was able to check 1 more item off my honey-do list! I had 6 different companies come out to give quotes and Foam-Tek was the absolute most affordable by a land slide! The next closest quote was over twice the cost. I thought, "maybe their work quality isn't that good", but man was that theory wrong. Bruce and his son lifted the driveway apron and back patio concrete. Bruce even noticed another issue and offered to fix it free of charge (it took them an extra hour or so). My garage concrete also has a large crack going down the middle which is hollow. Bruce filled it up for just a tiny additional charge. Everything is now leveled appropriately and ready for rain and snow. "They poured a poly....something coating over our concrete basement floor. The concrete was old and uneven so we didn't expect or receive a perfectly smooth finish. They did do some grinding where they were able. Very personable, able to come in a quick time frame. Good pricing. Not the greatest attention to detail - the coating didn't into all the corners, there were some bubbles and rings left, and some splashes up onto walls. But overall we were satisfied and have enjoyed the finished floor."
