"pulled up old floor, cleaned it and laid the tile it was a two day job.  they were punctual and tidy.. The kitchen job meant pulling out four tiles and replacing the worn out with new.  it went great and they now look great.

The anti-fracture membrane acts as a moisture barrier and should be installed to protect the tiles from moisture which helps maintain their integrity. Often, Ditra, a brand name, is used interchangeably with moisture barrier.

You can let the tile sit without grout. Don’t panic if there’s a delay between installing the tiles and grouting. A substantial stoppage isn't a problem, provided you keep the tile surface clear of dust and debris. Also, avoid walking over less stable ungrouted floor tiles as they are more prone to premature cracking and shifting.
