"pulled up old floor, cleaned it and laid the tile it was a two day job.  they were punctual and tidy.. The kitchen job meant pulling out four tiles and replacing the worn out with new.  it went great and they now look great.

On the other hand, laminate flooring has an average lifespan of around 20 years, and you might only get 10 to 15 years out of low-cost laminate flooring. As such, tile will add far more value to your home than laminate.
