We recently used Anton’s Floorcovering for the replacement of our kitchen flooring, as well as an adjoining four season porch. We found Anton on this site and were impressed with the high preponderance of glowing reviews. We had an older tile pattern, laminate floor that we’d grown tired of and wanted to refresh the look with a switch to luxury vinyl plank flooring in a wood grain style. Our kitchen had been largely remodeled about two years ago and replacing the older flooring was the last thing that needed attention. In the months prior to the job, we visited all the big box stores but found inferior quality overall. We then tried a few local flooring stores but couldn’t seem to find the right product or price point. We likely brought home 25+ samples trying to find the right product. Anton suggested visiting ProSource, a home improvement wholesaler that had a showroom very near us. We visited and took home two samples. We hit the jackpot there with a high quality Cortec brand product that fit the bill. The purchase timing was good as well, as they had a 15% off seasonal sale at the time. We spent about $2K for the product, beyond Anton's labor expense. Anton’s crew was skilled and efficient. The old flooring was removed in about 2 hours and the entire project, start to finish, took about six hours. When I have a home improvement contractor to my house, I highly value skill and speed. I don’t want anyone in my house for an extended time, or face unforeseen delays or complications. Everything went smoothly. I would say consumers are likely paying a bit of a premium for Anton’s reputation for quality. There are absolutely cheaper flooring contractors out there. If you’re someone who highly prioritizes bargain pricing, you may not find it with Anton’s. His proposals offer customers a detailed, itemized list of each and every item that he imposes a charge for. Some may find it off-putting, as to some there may be a connotation of “nickel and diming.” In reality, it may well be marginally helpful as a full disclosure document to clarify the key “what’s included” issues, so there are no misunderstandings. The bottom line for me is that I’m willing to pay some premium for what I perceive as quality. I plan to use Anton again for a tile project, perhaps later this Fall. My only advice to potential customers is to always obtain 2-3 quotes from qualified contractors. That way, if you have a multi thousand dollar project, you can evaluate your options from a quality/price dynamic.

We were happy we chose Anton’s Floorcovering and would not hesitate to choose them for another project. This was actually our second project with them. Several years ago, they replaced the gross basement carpet that came with our house with beautiful laminate flooring. This time, we had them replace our upstairs carpet. We selected Anton’s based on our previous experience, and we were again impressed by their professionalism and advice. Anton helped us consider options that would work best for our home, and we appreciated his candor in suggesting that some of the most expensive options might not be worth considering based on our home’s value. Anton’s crew was excellent and got the job done quickly without incident. We are pleased with the final result. We still have a few outdated floors that came with the house and would most certainly choose Anton’s again for the next project.

I first met Anton, the owner, about ten years ago. I was impressed by his professionalism and personality. He assisted us in choosing the products. His team replaced the carpet on the second story and the tile in the kitchen. (The rest of the first story, apart from an office, has hardwood floors which did not need work.) Last year, the carpet in our custom cherry-wood paneled office needed replacement. I was very concerned about damage to the wood, which would have been very difficult to repair. His installer did a perfect job, and I don't use that word lightly. Finally, his prices are very fair. I highly recommend this business with no hesitation.

Vladimir and his son Max maneuvered huge rolls of new carpet up the staircase in a 100-year-old house to recover the entire second floor. They corrected a problem in one area with the old sub-floor with clever carpentry. The new carpet was very stiff and very difficult to work with, but the installation is perfect, especially around the old iron radiators where the seams are undetectable.

Anton and his crew did an excellent job. Great communication prior to installation, and the tile looks perfect. Super happy with the finished product!

My experience with Anton's Flooring was excellent from beginning to end. Anton had a beautiful LVP that I chose. He and his team were professional, on time, efficient, friendly and very easy to work with. It has been several weeks now since the project was completed and I still love my new floors. I love the fact the floors are 100% waterproof and look like real wood. We have not had any scratches or other problems with the floors and they are very easy to take care of. I will not hesitate to use Anton's again. I highly recommend this company.

Everything was excellent with Anton's Floor Covering. They provided me with a professional proposal detailing all costs and showed up and finished the job when they said they would. In just two days, Anton's master tiler Vladimir removed my old tile floor, installed new tile, removed my old vanity and sink and replaced it with a brand new one. My floor and vanity look beautiful! Anton and his crew members are punctual, friendly, efficient, professional, and always do everything they can to make the project as stress-free as possible. It's always a good decision to let Anton handle your home projects!

My kitchen had plastic "faux tin" tiles that were glued over Formica. Anton's electrician Arkady did a masterful job of installing crisp, clean, varied, and dimmable lights, and then Vladimir was an artistic genius at removing the existing backsplash and installing the new tile. My kitchen now looks updated and beautiful. From Anton's guidance in selecting tile to seeing my beautiful completed kitchen, this refresh was smooth and easy.

After first contacting Anton on July 15, 2021 and a follow-up visit from him he gave us a carefully-detailed cost estimate on August 10 that covered every aspect of the work to be done. We ordered our LVT and carpeting shortly after and waited for a possible late fall installation. In October we agreed to a five-day schedule to begin on Thursday, November 11; the upstairs bedrooms and bath were completed by the 12th, which allowed us to stay in our home during the reflooring. The project was on hold for the weekend so we could return our personal belongings to the second floor and move any boxed personal belonging from our main floor into temporary storage (porches, garage, second floor). The work resumed on the main floor the following Monday and was finished by Wednesday, November 17. Throughout the process Anton provided prompt, useful advice, and answered our many questions about preparation, material comparisons, selection, and timing. He and his employees were knowledgeable, reliable, and hard-working. Once the work began he called or stopped by to make sure we were satisfied with their progress. At each phase of the installation, they added value to the job, e.g., using California-style carpet installation and a moisture barrier under the carpet padding for the stairway; eliminating cross seams and seam visibility in the carpet installation; refreshing the baseboards with a perfectly-matched Golden Oak base shoe; retightening all baseboard flooring to eliminate squeaks; removal and reinstallation of two toilets; and use of a hepa air purifier and plastic covering to minimize dust; thorough cleanup of all debris. Doing both floors took effort on our part, as well, but we are grateful for Anton's expertise and the efforts of all his employees to give us flooring that provides so much comfort and beauty everyday. This is a company that delivers on their promise.

Anton was great, answered all of our questions with patience and gave us good recommendations. The folks where we picked out our carpet and luxury vinyl tile were very helpful. Installers were fast and professional. Great overall experience. Additionally, the luxury vinyl tile was great for cleaning up and makes a beautiful background for all of our new puppy pictures!

Our service was excellent! Scheduling was easy, the crew were prompt and on time, and the work performed was done well. Additionally, Anton himself stopped by both days, along with checking in via phone to see how it was going. Would definitely recommend, and our next flooring project we will definitely call Anton's again!
