"I needed my chimney cap replaced. They had great communication and reasonable pricing. They were out to help me early the following week. Pictures provided of the work done and the chimney itself, which they provided an estimate for since it obviously needs work. I highly recommend!"

"We had had a raccoon in our chimney. They came, swept and cleaned the chimney, ensured there was no raccoon and placed chimney caps. The job was done thoroughly and they took the time to explain clearly what they were doing and finding. The job was done within the amount quoted. I highly recommend them."

"Gael did an awesome job. If we ever need anything done to our chimneys ever again we would hire them. They totally redid one of our chimneys including the upper concrete on top of the chimney. They arrived on time, were very courteous, cleaned up after doing the work and were totally THE BEST!!! Thank you!!"

"CHAPTER 2:  Then, in August, I noticed a faint whiff of gas near the furnace.  AirTech found a small leak and replaced a coupling.  I noticed it again and we called them back.  They fixed another small leak.  Okay.
CHAPTER 3:  Then in November, our furnace wasn't working.  Called AirTech.  After a couple visits, they determined that they hadn't really addressed the existing chimney suitability for the new furnace (it was February and very bad weather).  The chimney was allowed acorns to fall into it, blocking some vent.  They fixed the chimney issue.
AirTech has been very responsive when we called about these issues.  On the other hand, both of our issues should have been addressed during the initial installation.  But we are very happy with our new furnace.

"Sales Rep Ben came out and gave me the bid:  $2000 for a basement egress window, no inside finishing since I was remodeling anyway, simple metal window well and $5000 for new roof shingles on a small simple roof.   Ben was concerned that my older 1926 four square had a sagging roof and called out the owner, Damien to have a second look at it since Damien was more of the roofing expert.  None of the rafters were broken, but Damien insisted that to have a proper roof, (and workers walking on it) knee walls to correct the sagging needed to be installed.  I was hesitant but went ahead with that improvement since the overall re-roof bid with the fix was comparable and reasonable.
I got the bid in October and there were several delays in scheduling: the first having to do with my tree trimmer who I was waiting to remove large oak branches that were scraping the roof.  The second was from the city starting sewer work and blocking off the street. When there finally was street access for the work, it was well into winter.  So I was happy the job could still get done before the Christmas holiday.
I am glad that the sagging roof was fixed as the house looks much better.  Work done included attic knee walls, tear off and fixing some cracked sheathing.  Roof work took about 3 days.
When I paid Damien we looked outside to inspect the work and he noticed that the flashing around the chimney was silver color.  I didn't really care, but he noted that in his bid it covered flashing that was brown to match the roof shingle's color and house trim.  He then took $200 off the bill which was fine with me.  I can paint it myself for a small amount, but I probably will just leave it.   I mostly cared about the quality of the roof surface.   He cared a lot more about the aesthetics.
The new basement window looks great, work was done in one day.  Noise is created from the sawing of concrete and this was to be expected.  Workers were very friendly.  Inside of house was left very clean.
I had to take off work for both bid appointments and to let the window workers into the basement on the first day. However, all the roof work was done from the outside so I didn't have to be home.  It was very convenient.  Sales rep Ben and owner Damien very nice to work with.

Chimney Caps questions, answered by experts

Smooth galvanized metal ducting is best and safest for venting a hood range. It’s best to avoid flexible and corrugated types of ducting, as these options don’t provide ample airflow and may not meet local code. For specific advice on which type of duct might be best for your kitchen, reach out to a range hood installation professional.

No, you can’t install just any microwave over your range. You have to get a specific type of microwave known as an over-the-range unit. These include venting and lighting features that you’ll need above your stovetop.

Although countertop units are more affordable, they won’t work for this type of installation. To avoid hazardous conditions in your kitchen, buy the right type of microwave for your needs.

No, range hoods do not necessarily have to be vented outside. Ductless or non-vented range hoods are available, which are common in condos or small kitchens where connecting to external ductwork isn't feasible. These hoods operate by taking in air, filtering it through charcoal filters to help eliminate smoke and odors, and then recirculating the cleaned air back into the kitchen. However, while these recirculating hoods are more versatile, venting to the outside is still the preferred and more effective method for completely removing smoke, odors, and gases from the room.

Yes, they can assess the size, kitchen layout, and ventilation requirements to make recommendations.

Yes, with features like LED lighting and variable speed controls for efficiency.
