"Nick's Chimney Service came out on one of the coldest days of the year to replace the cap. I was worried about animals and weather. They were quick to respond, quick to come out to the house (2 days), totally reasonably priced, really nice and clear on the phone, and the work was excellent. "This project was beyond our expectations.Colonial Chimney was able to restore the craftsmanship to our home that was built in 1930.After getting several bids,none had the skill to restore the tree that was embossed on the chimney.The crew was outstanding,very meticulous,and courteous.The stucco restoration was done with precision and artistry from a true master.The chimney is absolutely beautiful.We highly recommend Colonial Chimney."

"CHAPTER 2: Then, in August, I noticed a faint whiff of gas near the furnace. AirTech found a small leak and replaced a coupling. I noticed it again and we called them back. They fixed another small leak. Okay.
CHAPTER 3: Then in November, our furnace wasn't working. Called AirTech. After a couple visits, they determined that they hadn't really addressed the existing chimney suitability for the new furnace (it was February and very bad weather). The chimney was allowed acorns to fall into it, blocking some vent. They fixed the chimney issue.
AirTech has been very responsive when we called about these issues. On the other hand, both of our issues should have been addressed during the initial installation. But we are very happy with our new furnace.

"Before making bid, inspected roof and pointed out damage to chimney. Took pictures of chimney so I didn't have to climb roof. Bid included what materials they would use, what services they would provide, and samples of the roofing and colors. The house has two dormers in front, and other odd angles and pitch. The owner came all 2 1/2 days it took to finish the job. Used 5 workmen who were pleasant, professional, very good at their jobs. And cleaned up each day. I was very pleased with the finished product. I go 4 bids, Greene's price was comparable to the others and they provided more services than the others. I highly recommend them.
