"Dan and his crew did a fabulous job--from responding quickly to the first request for an estimate to providing advice on the type of fencing most appropriate for our purposes, to installing the new fence. We would definitely hire him again and recommend him to anybody interested in high-quality and reliable work at an excellent price. The work included tear-down of an old fence. Dan built a new tall cedar privacy fence along one side of the property and in the back with a cedar, a separate tall cedar lattice structure for vines elsewhere on the property, and an wrought iron fence with gate on the other side of the house for a fully enclosed backyard. Special attention was paid to putting the posts in cement and forming a nicely rounded surface. All work came out perfectly straight and plumb. The crew took pride in their work, cleaned up perfectly, and communicated well. Whole building process was done in one week. One year later, the work still looks perfect. "My wife and I needed a fence segment installed and a 10ft wide driveway gate to keep our German Shepherd contained the backyard. Northland was hands down a great company and I would recommend them for any fence job. We went with steel wrought iron and it’s absolutely beautiful. We contacted about 8-10 different companies, and Northland’s pricing and options were by far the best. They had a few different styles of fencing and gave us a price breakdown for each one. They were the first company we contacted and they even recommended two other places to see if they would offer a better price, although they did not and we went with Northland regardless. The first step was to remove our old fence, which they did in no time at all, and then they drove the posts into the ground. They came back just over 1 week later to install the fence and gate and they did a wonderful job. If you have Nick and Alejandro installing it they’ll do excellent work. Whenever we need another fencing project complete we will contact Northland. Overall they had great customer service and we couldn’t be happier with the results."

"I do not generally write reviews unless I'm swayed towards disappointment or extreme satisfaction. To the readers, this review is completely on the satisfaction side of the fence. No pun intended, but fits!!!! LOL I am not affiliated in any fashion with Top Notch Co. and only submit a review as a customer with my opinion. I hired Top Notch in 2004 to build a cedar fence that was 371 linear feet with 52 posts containing three gates. I only point this out as it wasn't a small job in 2004 and I still remember the numbers with the big job it was! That cedar fence was beautiful and lasted two decades providing a place for the pets to hang out and gave us home owners privacy to a path that exists beyond. Fast forwarding 20 years, the old fence did its job and needed to be replaced. I called Top Notch and requested a bid to which I received within a day online. I'm not a first bid kind of guy, so I requested over 7 bids from various companies in the area. Several companies came out, showed off products, and did the normal walk of the property. Being an over researcher, I weighed all my options with cost, materials, and credentials. I hope I can tell you to look no further with the research I've already done, but Top Notch Co., is TOP NOTCH!! I requested them to come out for the final bid to make sure the online quote was legit and the numbers never changed. The crew was extremely friendly, hard working, overly punctual (showed a day early), and left no trace behind. The original owner of the company (Rob) came out to greet me as well after last seeing him 20 years ago on the first fence. Thanks to Top Notch for a job done extremely well! -Dave"

"After another company installed the supporting retaining wall, Artistic Fence came in a week later and a two-man team installed the fence posts. Then about three days after that a different carpenter came and built the fence. The fence looked great and the three gates worked fine.
After about a week, the main gate started to stick when opening. Since the sticking seemed to be getting worse, I called the company and explained the problem. Shortly, a temporary brace was installed to support the gate. Their carpenter reported that one of the fence posts supporting the gate was warped (this was what we suspected). He recommended two possible solutions: install a bracket between the post and our garage, or remove the warped post and install a new one. We decided to try the bracket idea.
It took a little time for their carpenter to fit us in. He installed the bracket with additional bracing on the inside of the garage making it very strong. The gate works fine now with no sticking.
While I felt like I had to prompt the company a few times, and it took a little bit of time to get the warped post braced, I am very happy with the finished product."
