  We would highly recommend Trey and Dan from Freedom Insulation. They insulated our exterior walls, sealed and insulated our attic, and helped improve the ventilation on our kitchen. We really notice the difference. The furnace runs a fraction of the time it used to! They do excellent quality work! Furthermore, they are great guys. They were easy to communicate with as they prepared our project estimate, and also as they were leading up to the job as well as being here doing the work! I don’t think I’ve ever been so content with a contractor’s work and communications. They were pleasant to have around, grateful for the project, and very helpful to us by answering questions, checking with us what issues would come up that were an opportunity for our input, making recommendations for our decisions, explaining the work plans, explaining the progress, welcoming our questions, processing the energy company rebate request, etc. The house is not only warmer, it is also much quieter.   These guys were a delight to deal with from beginning (we found them at last year's state fair) to end (they just came by to repair some windows that didn't open properly because of expanding insulation). In order to protect our gardens, we signed up for their winter special at a 10% discount, but because of an unusually severe winter, work did not begin until March.They came out to the house, removed the exisiting masonite siding, covered the house in housewrap, rebuilt the soffits and repaired rotting wood and then installed new HardiPlank siding and trim. The workers were prompt, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable and skillful. When we had questions, we called or emailed the project supervisor and got an immediate response. The house now looks immeasurably better and we have only good memories of the whole projectshow more

  They were very professional and prompt. I enjoyed having them work on my house. They were easy to work with and above all listened to me. Every night they would clean the site before they left for the day. The salesman, Mike Ziegler, was easy to work with and showed us lots of examples. We kept him busy because we were picky about how we wanted the house to look. We were also looking at another contractor but he wasn't listening to us and was going in a direction we were not happy with. Mike gave us an amazing reference list that was probably 20 pages long with addresses and descriptions of their past projects. This was very helpful to us especially in choosing color for the siding. Their reference list would tell what color was put on different houses and we could drive to those locations and look at the color. That proved to be more useful than looking at the tiny colors in the brochure. Jeff Witt, was the project manager who kept everything running smoothly and on schedule. He coordinated all of the contractors (stonework, carpenters, windows, insulation, etc.). There were some other things that we needed done (electrical and gutters) that they also lined up for us and we paid those contractors separately. This was a big project for us and we changed our mind on things during the process. They were flexible enough to accommodate our wishes. When the project was done Jeff and I had a final walk through to make sure I was completed satisfied with the results. I appreciated that. We made 3 payments to them, an initial payment to start the project and order the windows, a second payment halfway through and the last payment after the final walk through.   We are so happy with the work Craftsman's Choice Inc. did on our home. Our wood siding was replaced with James Hardie siding and trim including soffits, fascia and new shutters. The process from beginning to completion was professional and thoughtful. Until the last few years we had always done all of our home remodeling ourselves so we really appreciated the tremendous amount of work this project involved. From our first meeting with Mike to the last, we appreciated his experience and knowledge. Jeff, the project manager was also excellent and did a great job coordinating everything. The foreman Ivan was pleasant to work with and the excellent team work reflected well on him and all levels of personnel involved. There was excellent communication and clean up throughout the time this work was done. We also appreciated the referral and coordination with the company who replaced our gutters and downspouts.
