"Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"Tony and his team did an awesome job! We needed our side door steps replaced. I really didn't think it would be much more than just replacing the rotting wood planks with new wood. Boy was I wrong. Tony explained everything that would need to be done in order to pass a city inspection. He replaced the steps, the deck, the posts, and the railings. It wasn't until everything was replaced that I realized how poorly they were done before. Wow! Everything came out looking & feeling incredible. Tony and his team were so helpful by explaining everything that needed to be done throughout the process. He gave us different price & material options for everything. His team even added little customizations that we wouldn't have thought to add. His prices were reasonable. They finished the job reasonably fast; even in bad weather conditions. "Derek is a great professional. He explained all that his involvement would entail, gave a timeline, and managed my expectations throughout the whole process.

"SMS Construction hauled away my old crappy deck and and replaced it with a brand new cedar deck. This was a full service job done to perfection by SMS.  The materials arrived right on time, as did the dumpster to remove the remains of the old deck.  The crew worked very efficiently and did not leave a mess. Some rotten sheathing was discovered under the old ledger board and Scott sent me pictures from his phone which I immediately reviewed and authorized some additional work.  Additional cost for that was minimal and fair.  Final product is very good looking and I can tell that no corners were cut. Over-all a very good value and a carefree experience.

"Paul and Dan were very professional and their attention to detail was amazing. They really took the time with us upfront in the planning phase to do multiple drawings and alterations to the original plan to make sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted. Once we decided on a final direction they got to work immediately with obtaining permits and ordering windows for our project and other than a few weather delays completed the project on time. When the work began they made great progress and took the time to bring up ideas to make the project better. Our house was built in 1906 and the craftmanship that Paul and Dan possess to make the interior trim match the existing trim was more than we could have hoped for. They did a great job matching the exterior shakes and paint work to make the addition look like it had always been here. In the end, we are absolutely thrilled with our new living space and how much nicer it is than we envisioned it turning out. Paul and Dan completed the project on time and on budget. We have already asked them to replace a few windows in the house and have recommended them to several friends/neighbors/family members for upcoming projects. We would absolutely use Five Star again for any upcoming projects."
