"Sky has done work for me on three separate occasions and I will hire him over and over again. The quality of his work is excellent, he's prompt, friendly,and his estimates are very reasonable. My house is over 100 years old and working on it is never easy and I've had work done that just wasn't done very well or with respect to the house. Skies work is excellent quality and he always respects the original workmanship. The range of his work is also amazing. He has fixed the stairs in my home that were becoming very creaky and a few were getting loose and they are very solid now and the original workmanship continues. He's put up a cast iron gazebo in my yard, installed a dishwasher and a toilet in terms of plumbing. And helped on a couple of my electrical outlets. I really feel that this review is not saying enough about Sky's work but I encourage folks looking for war a handyman to hire Sky."

"Simply put, Trevor and his crew do great decks.
I have to share my 1st attempt on hiring the right guy for this project. It consisted of me getting a couple recommended contractors from others and thought I was good. Instead it was terrible, to the point where we mutually agreed it was best for them to remove the decking and poorly installed addition and walk away. Naturally I cautiously interviewed several more deck builders before deciding on MN Construction.
From the 1st call, Trevor impressed me. He made time out of his busy schedule to stop by or take my calls. He gave me an clear overview, answered questions and concerns from the last guy's work, explained why when asked, left samples, etc. He suggested deferent designs and product over others and why, building my confidence quickly. After we traded a few emails/texts, my decision to go with MN Construction was an easy one.
During the project, with a crew of 3, progress was made quickly. They were efficient, hard working, and asked questions when needed. The results are more than we expected to get because of his recommendations and I know our deck with last longer because of the quality of work/product they used. When I'd point out this or that, boom done, and better than expected. After interviewing several and hiring a couple, it's hard to find guys like this out there. You can bet they will be getting another call from me on other remodel work and I have already passed their name on.

"We were very pleased with Scott (SMS Construction) and his proposed estimate for building the deck, footings, permits required, etc. His price was competitive with other contractors. He was extremely knowledgeable and very conscientious in his description of what needed to be done, and how it was to be done in our face-to-face meeting. He takes pride in his workmanship and it shows in the finished product. I believe in his integrity and follow-thru in what he proposes, executes, and finishes. The deck looks more attractive and was constructed much better than the first deck. The stairs to the deck look great and the color of the wood is also very attractive. (We used "brown treated Pine" instead of cedar.) We are pleased and satisfied that our money was well spent on this contractor and the professionalism he exemplified in the whole process. "Tony and his team did an awesome job! We needed our side door steps replaced. I really didn't think it would be much more than just replacing the rotting wood planks with new wood. Boy was I wrong. Tony explained everything that would need to be done in order to pass a city inspection. He replaced the steps, the deck, the posts, and the railings. It wasn't until everything was replaced that I realized how poorly they were done before. Wow! Everything came out looking & feeling incredible. Tony and his team were so helpful by explaining everything that needed to be done throughout the process. He gave us different price & material options for everything. His team even added little customizations that we wouldn't have thought to add. His prices were reasonable. They finished the job reasonably fast; even in bad weather conditions. Plus, Tony and his team were extremely respectful and friendly to me and my family. I will DEFINITELY hire his company to do any future remodeling and repairs that come up."
