Nick was extremely thorough in his inspection and he took the time to explain all of his findings. He was patient when answering my questions and I never felt like he was rushing to get through the job (which is something I have experienced with other inspectors). He also responded quickly to a follow up email I had with a few additional questions. Do they cost more? Yes, but my experience with Structure Tech was well worth the extra cost. I would highly recommend them to anyone buying a home and I would definitely hire them again if needed in the future.

Martin provided me with a very thorough home inspection, cheerfully outlining things that need attention, welcoming all my questions as a first-time home buyer, and providing many useful tips. Having lived in apartments and condos for 30+ years, I had forgotten what all could go wrong in a townhouse. Martin made great recommendations and gave me the peace of mind I needed to proceed with my purchase. He came loaded with a lot of equipment, mindfully setting up in the home to not disturb the rooms while conducting his inspections. The final report is very detailed and will be used as my check list to get my home updated. Absolutely worth it. Scheduling was easy, selecting the various tests included details on what each test would entail, and I can access the reports from any device. 10/10 would request Martin Mullikin again. You should too!

Excellent job by Jeff Corneia at our pre-drywall inspection. We are first time buyers and Jeff took time explaining everything to us. He was punctual, professional and very knowledgeable. There were some atypical last minute requests from the builder and he handled it all with aplomb. We’re hiring him for the final inspection as well.

Avoid this company! I purchased a condo based on a clean inspection report from Structure Tech. Now eight weeks later I'm stuck with a condo needing thousands of dollars in repair. They claim these things occured after the inspection (i.e. a radiator needs to be replaced despite no even being turned on after the inspection!). I'm a single, retired woman and I've been duped by this company. Don't let this happen to you!

"Thank you for your feedback. We are committed to providing high-quality service to all our clients. We empathize with the unforeseen costs you have encountered since moving in. While we make every effort to provide our clients with the most thorough information possible about their purchases, there can be factors outside our control. First, the homeowners' association mandated the replacement of the electrical panel. We are not provided with association documents for review. This electrical panel brand is not a known safety issue in the industry, and our inspector provided information to the association about this in an attempt to save you from any unnecessary expense. The panel's interior could not be inspected due to the deadfront being painted to the wall. Opening anything caulked, nailed, or painted shut is considered intrusive and a clear violation of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) Standard of Practice. The report recommended that the panel be made accessible and inspected by a qualified professional. Second, the baseboard radiator/heater was functional on the day of the inspection. It responded to thermostat controls and produced heat. This was noted in the inspection report. A home inspection is a snapshot in time, and no warranty or guarantee is implied with any of the inspected systems or components. The circumstances you've faced are unfortunate. While the problems you've encountered are beyond our control, we can tell you that we stand behind our satisfaction guarantee. We have offered a full refund for the inspection cost, which was declined."

Mike was exceptional! Not only was he thorough and well detailed, he was super knowledgeable and brought his personal experiences to further explain how the things he was seeing could affect you. This report was invaluable and gives me a peace of mind on what is often the largest purchase anyone will make, for their home. Understanding safety concerns and getting ideas of how to address them would ease any parents mind before bringing their family into their new home. Thank you Mike, you were wonderful and hope the next time I have an inspection I get you or someone just as great as you! Oh, and Reuben's detailed explanations of some of the report topics was highly education, easy to digest and did not take a lot of time. The large amount of 5 star reviews don’t lie! We got an accepted home purchase offer on a Saturday night and requested a home inspection for Monday morning. By the Sunday morning we had gotten confirmation we were scheduled for the next day, received payment request, and any other information we needed. Sunday evening our inspector Jim texted me to see if we had any questions or specific non-routine things we wanted him to take a look at. When we met him Monday morning to walk through the house with him we were blown away at how knowledgeable and confident he was about pretty much every aspect of the house. He was immediately willing to admit anything he didn’t have expertise on and for those things he recommended having a more specialized company come do an analysis for us. I really appreciate people being honest when they aren’t certain about something instead of bluffing. We had our inspection report emailed to us the evening of the same day the inspection was done which was very appreciated due to our short inspection window. I have full confidence Jim would be willing to explain or talk us through understanding anything on the report. The report itself is beautifully designed and laid out, included many images, and also includes a ton of helpful links to education articles about various issues/maintenance items that were found in our inspection. We felt very confident in our home purchase after working with Structure Tech and would recommend Jim to anyone out there needing a home inspection. Thanks so much!

Thank you Structure Tech for doing a short notice, special inspection on my new construction home! Your excellent inspector Eric Larsen was so observant and was able to access areas of our attic space we were not. He was able to identify the source of some serious issue we will be able to make sure are addressed by our builder before it becomes damaged beyond repair. As a Realtor of 20+ years I should have followed my own advice, which is to get a home inspection before closing on a new construction home! Having a company like Structure Tech on your building schedule would be a good idea for anyone. Eric was knowledgeable, local, and experienced with new construction and all the current building codes. Plus he was thoughtful, kind and shared many insights. I wish we could give him MORE than 5 stars!
