"I called Dan on Friday 9/20/24 & explained we needed our water dispenser replaced on our refrigerator. He told me over the phone he was ordering the part & would come out the following Monday (9/23), to swap it out. So we took the morning off from work to be present. When he arrived 40 min late, I overheard him ask my husband what the problem was. I was in the other room, so I don't think he knew I was home. He then said he would have to order the part & come back another day. I came out & reminded him of the fact that he told me he already ordered it the Friday before. He admitted to "dropping the ball" & said he forgot to order it, but that he would get it ordered & come back on Thursday. We were slightly annoyed but still paid him in advance & gave him the benefit of the doubt. People make mistakes, no one's perfect. Fast forward to Thursday morning, less than an hour before our rescheduled appt, he says the part is backordered. Not his fault, but then I texted him & asked if they said how long it would take & which part he ordered. He then said I was being rude & now he's not coming back to do the job. Oh & we still owe him $65 for the diagnostic fee. This guy was sloppy, dishonest & wasted our time, then charged us for it. Instead of doing the right thing & simply apologizing to us, he shifted the blame on us, (asking simple questions is apparently being rude), so he'd have an excuse to not come back. I guess the embarrassment was just too much for his ego to face us again, after he was caught lying."

"Initially, things went OK. After the work was completed, there were several issues with the install; pickets hung crooked, property was destroyed (workers stepped on and bent newly installed gutters and downspouts), and one gate was repositioned in a different spot without my approval which rendered my neighbors gate inoperable as well as interfered with the external dryer vent on my house. I contacted the owner of the company (Julian) and the issues were tended to, although it took several days. The fence did not fare well through the winter, however. I phoned Julian in March to tell him that the back gate was falling apart and would not stay closed due to the latch being improperly installed. I asked him to take a look at it and get back to me. I patiently waited for him, but after 5 weeks of nothing, I phoned again and left a message indicating that he had exactly 10 days to attend to the matter. In that time frame, more pickets from the fence and gate fell off. Apparently, the workers stapled the pickets on with inappropriately sized fasteners. The owner texted me on the 10th day stating that he would come to fix the fence and gate and gave me a date. At 2pm on that date, no one had shown up. I received a text at 8pm stating that he had been by to fasten all the pickets and would be back on Saturday to fix the gate. It's Saturday and he has not been here. Currently, the gate is completely unusable and utterly unsightly. He reattached the pickets haphazardly and they scrape the driveway. I am shocked at how negligent he has been throughout the whole process and regret the day I hired him. I have pictures of this disgrace. I should also mention that this was not an inexpensive project. But I paid 100% more than what it was worth."
