30 years of experience

20 years in business, respectable, quality-oriented, dependable, and clean. We know your house is your castle, so we make it our job to make your life easier through the process and make sure the end result is everything you imagined. We're not happy unless you are; it's are mission.

"Shaun bid out the project and it was competitive with other bids - total was $11,000. However, after doing 1/4 of the work (just hanging the sheetrock) and receiving $5500; Shaun and his crew skipped-out on the rest of the job. He has not answered any of my phone calls nor text messages. He has no integrity and doesn't finish the work for which he provided a quote and was paid half and I had to provide all of the product."

Drywall questions, answered by experts

You shouldn’t leave drywall outside overnight, especially if you live in a wet or humid climate. The moisture from humidity, rain, or other elements can damage the drywall, making it weaker and susceptible to mold growth. Stash any extra drywall in a dry area away from the elements to protect it from moisture.

Yes, professionals often repair minor wall openings made for insulation injection to restore the surface.

Yes, 1/2-inch thick drywall is commonly used for ceilings in residential construction. It provides adequate support and is easier to handle and install compared to thicker drywall sheets. Thicker drywall, such as 5/8-inch, is typically used for ceilings in commercial buildings or areas requiring additional fire resistance or soundproofing. However, for most standard residential applications, 1/2-inch drywall is sufficient and widely accepted.

A jigsaw is commonly used to cut holes in drywall. It offers versatility and precision, making it suitable for creating circular or irregular openings. When equipped with the right blade, a jigsaw can swiftly and cleanly cut through drywall, making it a good choice for DIY projects.

The amount of drywall you need for a 1,000-square-foot basement depends on the ceiling height, angles, number of doors and windows, and more. To find the wall square footage, multiply the width and height of each wall, minus any gaps from windows or doors, and add the totals together. You’ll also need enough drywood nails or screws to install the drywall correctly.
