We have nine offices throughout NE Minnesota and NW Wisconsin, and we dleiver heating oil and propane to over 22,000 customers. We also sell furnaces, water heaters, AC and grills. Cook & Douglas counties available.
"My 94 yo mother has been a customer of Como Oil for decades. She even pre pays for every home fuel oil fill. On 6-27-23 Como greatly overfilled the tank which is in a finished basement Where we live. Grade 2 Fuel oil spilled outside of the home and onto the foundation, and then it flooded the basement. The fumes were so intense we became very sick. I spoke with the Hibbing MN manager, who could have cared less what my elderly Mom was going through with the fuel oil spill inside her home!!! He told me it wasn’t his problem since it was inside the house. Don’t EVER do business with this company. We had a credit of over $3000 dollars at Como and they said it would take 6-8 weeks to CUT a refund check. Come on? What a pathetic response. They caused the toxic spill, my 94 yo mother did not cause it. They took advantage of her. We want everyone to know how little they care about their long term customers, and how they placed us at a high health and safety risk. The gas hot water tank pilot light was only 3 feet away from the liquid spilled fuel oil. I did not want to give Como even a 1 Star rating, they deserve a ZERO."

We are a union shop and our work includes commercial as well as residential plumbing, heating, HVAC, and fire protection. We employ 40-70 hard working employees. We use various local subcontractors to offer a complete project for our customers. We are licensed, bonded and insured and hold the required licenses for MN and WI.
"Yesterday, May 13, 2025 we were visited by Jeremy from A. G. O'Brien to restore the water pressure in out tub. He was not only on time but a bit early (Yay!). He called and texted before he got here. What a pleasant and professional man he was. He actually restored the water pressure (after 30 years of low pressure), he did it while letting me watch and learn. I am so impressed with your company for having him on your team. Thank you. M.
