"Was already in the neighborhood and first to call back. In about two hours he had arrived and cleared the floor drain backup. Even told me how to tell the difference between when the floor drain backs up due to a malfunction (and how to clear it) or a drain line clog. Was the latter this time. Not just fast and efficient, but also got a few tricks on first step troubleshooting to know if It's something I can easily clear in 10 seconds or not."

"They quickly fixed plugged drain, and then went over my list giving pricing and recommendations for each item. We agreed on fixing the toilet which was again quickly and professionally done. I was very satisfied with their punctuality, professionalism and courtesy, transparency and quick completion of the projects. Would absolutely use the again and refer them to others."

"Fast and efficient. They sent someone out the next day and I know they were very busy. After he left I thought I found another drain in the floor. He came back but but I was mistaken. He just laughed and said it was fine. He wanted to ensue they got to everything. They could not have been more accommodating!"

"I called contractor to get estimates for needed plumbing. Arrived a few minutes late but I received a call prior to arrival that would be late. After arriving Chuck reviewed the options for fixing plugged sink and leak in pipes and gave me estimates for fixes. They were reasonable so I said he could go ahead with the work. He was able to do the work at the time so I did not have to reschedule appointment. One of the requirements was to remove a broken disposal and disconnect from disposal switch. While removing the switch plate cover he accidentally broke it. He called the office and another person delivered a new one for him to replace the broken cover. He completed the work and cleaned up work area. I was very satisfied with the work and Chuck was very helpful and professional.

"Ben was amazing. He called ahead of arriving and arrived on time. He always put booties on his shoes to ensure he didn't track in the house. Alwqys had drop cloths down to minimize cleanup and did an amazing job cleaning up after himself when he was done. On top of that he was friendly, conversational, and gave sound options and advice so we could make informed decisions that work best for us. Will definitely be using them again."

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Bleach—even diluted bleach—is not always the safest option for cleaning your drains. With a high pH, bleach can be highly corrosive to many types of pipes, especially when used regularly. When mixed with household cleaners and organic waste, it can also create dangerous chemicals. Remember to use proper protective equipment and ventilation when dealing with bleach.

Yes, drains are one common entry point for water bugs. However, water bugs may enter your home through various locations including doors, windows, pipes, and vents. Water bugs are drawn to the dark and moist atmosphere drains provide, and can easily find their way into your home through sewer drain pipes. You can stop water bugs from entering through drains by regularly cleaning your drains and repairing faulty drainage systems.

It can take anywhere from half an hour to a few hours to fix a main line clog, depending on the cause and severity of it. The job should not take more than a day to complete. Keep in mind that the main line is not the same as your home’s sewer lines (which connect to the main line and run to your house). Your city is responsible for any clogs or damage to the main line itself.

A sewage smell in your crawl space is usually from a damaged or clogged pipe leaking sewer gasses or actual sewage underneath your home, but there are some other common causes. Moisture, from poor or damaged encapsulation or a malfunctioning sump pump, can harbor mold and bacteria, causing a musty smell. Pests can also get stuck in your crawl space and die, which causes a sewage-like odor.

You can unclog an AC drain line for free if you already have these household ingredients: water, vinegar, and rags. Alternatively, if you’d rather not deal with the mess, you can hire a pro to clear your drain line. If you go that route, an HVAC service call costs between $100 and $250.
