"Did the estimate the day I called.  Estimate was very clear.  Price was very competitive.  He works with a crew of 3-4, but was onsite himself for the day they painted.  The first day they had the wallpaper off and one coat of paint in the living room.  Did a good jog of cleaning up.
Second day finished the job.  For the radiator paint, he took one of the covers to get a match.  There was some touch-up work which he came back to do himself.

"When we decided to remodel our basement I contacted several contractors and was kind of surprised at the lack of response I got from a number of contractors. It literally took weeks for one contractor to call me back and some just never bothered. This was NOT the case with Fair & Square. They were very responsive from the start and after meeting with me to review the details of what we wanted to do to finish out our basement they provided me a ballpark estimate for the project. They didn’t come in as the cheapest bid but it did fit within by budget and to that point they had been the easiest to work with and seemed the most interested in the project. We signed on to have them complete the job including adding a fireplace, sound insulation in the ceiling and my favorite, the Onyx shower surround in the bathroom. They took several weeks to complete the project and were great about making sure we knew what to expect and when. If an issue came up they let us know and offered reasonable solutions. "The company was referred to my daughter by one of her coworker. Initially my daughter's primary interest was to have her popcorn ceiling scraped and replaced with knock down ceiling. She also wanted painting done in her lower level. After visiting with owners she learned that they had Handyman experience and had very good ideas. she ask if the could remodel her bathroom. They removed the old tile floor in the bathroom, replaced with new tile, removed the old vanity and plumbing and replaced with new. They were very friendly and easy to communicate with.
