We unfortunately didn’t have a good experience with Wow. We selected a matte sheen for our interior and they used velvet, didn’t repair nail pops, & used a long nap roller, leaving an orange peel texture on our previously smooth walls. We had some areas needing sanding which were not properly done. To be fair, when we raised concerns, they returned promptly & did a nice job fixing the exterior. They applied 1 coat of matte to the interior, again using long rather than short nap roller we requested. 1 coat didn’t fully cover the shine and orange peel remained. My husband preferred to attempt a fix ourselves rather than having them return again, so we told them it was better. We told them we applied a 2nd matte coat with a short nap roller to further reduce shine and smooth the walls. They did not acknowledge this or offer any rectification. We paid $2400 for our interior, applied 2nd coat ourselves, and are stuck either living with orange peel or paying another company to fix it.

"Hello and thanks for these notes. It's unfortunate of your remarks as it is not 100% accurate. Yes, you selected matte & the 'velvet' was misinformed by the vendor as matte in the past, only to find out it's matte+. Nail holes, dings/dents are always fixed & at times nail pops may be missed if not identified. We would have handled all of these if they stood out and you let the crew know. We always use 3/8" or 1/2" nap rollers on all walls & may leave a small stipple effect....NOT orange peel as this is an over exaggeration. We kept all communication open and timely so the customer service provided was more than adequate. You emailed on May 27...... We did apply a second coat of the matte paint this weekend to try and tone down the shine a bit more and smooth out the texture from the longer nap rollers they used, but it’s looking better. I mailed the check on Saturday so I imagine it should make it to you in a day or two. I am not sure where your request for further rectification or discount is stated here so your attempt to make us look worse is not valid. We even had the crew return to apply a new sheen and the time/labor/materials cost was absorbed by WOW. You and I spoke on the phone and I listened to your concerns even though your voice was shaking very hard and I had to calm you down, explaining what we can do to help further. Your husband called as well to apologize for how you were acting. We have nearly 500 A+ reviews over various sites and proud of our business model. We take pride in how we communicate and provide top quality and service. At times errors occur or miscommunications. It's how we handle these ongoing that raises WOW 1 DAY PAINTING to the next level. The Good Initial Consult - I got quotes from Wow1day and 2 other painting companies. By far they had the most detailed initial consult.They took measurements of every room, were engaged and asking questions and were super responsive during the whole process. Price - They have competitive and fair pricing. They also had the most detailed price quote which broke down the cost in a very clear and transparent way which made it super helpful but also made us feel confident that the cost of the project would stay consistent with the initial quote which it did. Project and timeline - Overall they did a great professional job on the project. They clearly communicated the project timeline which was 4 days. They started & finished the project on time. They did a nice job of prepping the house and a fair job of cleanup as much as possible. During the project they were very communicative, they had us come check out any issues, some of our walls were dark grey that they were painting white, two coats weren’t enough so the had us come in, check it out and give authorization for additional coats of paint.They did miss one small area and had a few minor areas they needed to go over but that was to be expected for a project of this size. After the project was done, the following week their manger came back to inspect the work and make any repairs which was really great. The not so good that ended up great! - We experienced a pretty major snag with the project but Wow1day demonstrated integrity by fixing the issue for us free of charge. We chose Benjamin Moore colors for all our walls which WOW1day matched to Sherwin Williams. Unfortunately, one of the colors we choose didn’t look like the Benjamin paint color we had exhaustively swatched and picked out. The other areas that were matched with Sherwin Williams looked close enough but this particular paint had a green undertone which was very unattractive. This was a pretty large area of the house so we were concerned with the rework and associated charges but owner Mike stepped in and ensured that the walls were repainted with Benjamin Moore Paint free of charge. The way they handled this was ethical, professional and courteous and we really appreciated it. I would definitely work with them again and recommend them to friends and family. Lessons if you are looking to hire for a big painting project: When working with contractors such as Wow1Day make sure you swatch the right brand because there is a difference between the brands, it’s subtle in most cases but in our case the undertone really ruined the color for us and had to be repainted. Or if you really want a certain brand specify it in the contract. Ultimately though, we love the finished project and are super happy with the work, our house feels refreshed and new right in time for spring.

I was very happy with the work the WOW crew did in my kitchen recently. The process of repainting the cabinets was explained to me, and everything went off exactly as planned. The team arrived right on time. Did a quick walk through for confirmation then went right to work. In less than 5 hours, I had 2 coats of paint on all my walls. They did another walk through to make sure I was happy...and I was, I love it!! I would definitely use them again, and would highly recommend them!

All I can say is WOW!!! I have had some poor experiences with other contractors. Either they were unorganized, quoting me incorrect prices or just not sticking to the timeline and delaying work. This was NOT the case with Mike Sandness and his amazing team! From the moment I called for a free estimate to the completion of the project, this experience was phenomenal! As soon as I called, they were able to schedule my free estimate right away. Mike showed up promptly on time. He was kind, knowledgeable and professional. He asked what I was looking for and even itemized the estimate since I was unsure of what work I could or wanted to complete on my own. The estimate was so reasonable in comparison to other estimates I had received. In some cases cheaper! Mike was available and answered all my questions even when I emailed him later in the evening. The team showed up for work on time and were professional and courteous. The work was completed on schedule and I am so impressed! The communication, professionalism, quality and timeliness took away all the stress that comes along with home projects! I will be recommending this team to everyone I know! Mike and crew were great! They painted almost my entire 2000sq ft home including wallpaper removal in a day and a half. The paint job also included patching numerous holes, painting around tons of trim, covering a dark color with a light color and vaulted ceiling walls. They were professional, on time, easy to communicate with and friendly. The whole process went very smoothly. I will hire again.

Not only was this the most professional group but they were nice guys too. They did a great job...they were quick and neat (no drips or spills). They protected my furniture and floors.
