"John and his team were awesome! They couldn't be a nicer group of guys. From the first meeting, John took a genuine interest in both the job and in my historic home. My driveway is unusual in that the home is on a corner lot and the driveway wraps completely around the house, and under an original carriage porte. Proper design was key to complimenting the historic integrity of the home and we were very specific with our design request, going so far as to provide a detailed rendering depicting soft, undulating curves and portions where the solid slab drive was to transition into tracks with a grass boulevard down the middle. John and his team worked very closely with us to give us exactly what we wanted. We tried to be home for most of the work, and told them to never hesitate to knock and ask us questions....which they didn't and we greatly appreciated. The whole process felt very collaborative and everyone involved seemed genuinely interested in getting all the details right. John and his crew were also very concerned with making sure the driveway was graded properly for water runoff, which is, of course, a very important aspect of concrete work and was overlooked by all the other bidders. The crew left the site very clean and the driveway looks great! Cornerstone will be coming back in a few weeks to seal, and I suspect that will go just as smoothly. I would absolutely call these guys again for future concrete needs. Thanks John and team!

"I'm long overdue to write this review, but we hired King Scapes last summer to complete an extensive project to replace a rotten timber retaining wall, replace it with stone, and build a new stone patio with fire pit in our back yard. Even before that, we had met with Don to discuss our broader vision for our yard and he created a three-phase plan (this was phase two) that we could complete as it made logistic and financial sense for us. We were extremely impressed with the professionalism and the quality of work that was completed. They always kept us up to date on what was happening and asked us whenever a decision needed to be made. This ensured we were happy with the finished product. The project was burdened by lousy weather, and they never complained nor did they cut corners to get the job done faster. The work wasn't cheap but that's the nature of the project we embarked upon. We just wanted it done right. I would highly recommend King Scapes."
