"They did great. The entire surface was level and free from tripping hazards. It is important to have them seal the cracks because there will be water from snow melt and the concrete will move. This will get you the 5 yr warrantee just in case."

"This whole project could not have gone smoother for us. From Adam L. helping us understand the process and getting us scheduled to Isaiah S. and Matt N. doing the work on site, we couldn't have been more pleased. All three gentlemen were friendly, professional and answered all of my (many) questions. I highly recommend Innovative Basement Authority...I wish I could give 6 stars."

"Acculevel did a super job for us! We have a house that was built in 1902 with a small crawl space. They fixed ALL our problems and did NOT have to tear up the floors. Our floors are level and stable. They were professional and neat. I would hire them for any basement or foundation issues you wont be sorry! 10 stars to the crew"

"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"Finished work was just OK. Feathering of new concrete to existing not the greatest. Was a hiccup on the scope of work where water would exiting the house would terminate. In another review I made DBS response was for me to contact them and never did hear a word. Workers were professional and polite, did a good clean up."

"Our kitchen addition project with Fair and Square Remodeling went well. The design process was enjoyable and with some adjustments through the design process they put together a beautiful plan for the addition. The team was efficient, communicated well, and were quick to share their ideas to ensure we would be satisfied with the kitchen. Their contactors were friendly, professional and experienced."

"Our old house has suffered through several additions and consequently walls and floors are not level or plumb. The Rossbach team did an outstanding job of understanding what we wanted and the quality of their work is second to none! They also had no problem letting us do some of the work, like the demo and the wall finishing. We would definitely use them again!"

"We had a remodel done on our main and upper level of our home while we lived in the basement. Although construction in general was stressful, your team is in a league of your own. It is quite clear to us that you have built your company on honesty and integrity. Weâ  re sure that there is not another construction company that could have accomplished this remodel in the time, budget, and quality that your team did. We greatly appreciated the transparency to your cost-plus open book system. Weâ  ve had other contractors in the past that just gave us a lump sum to do projects for us. With them we didnâ  t see where all the money went and what the contractor was making, unlike your approach. Your system is well respected, thank you for all you did for us! We would definitely recommend the Custom team for your next project."

One starting point to find a local home builder is to collect suggestions from friends and neighbors. However, it’s still wise to do some more research before you hire a builder. Read reviews to supplement any word-of-mouth recommendations. Check sources like Angi that have standards and criteria in place to screen the pros it lists can also help you find more reputable local home builders.
Typically, it’s more affordable to buy an existing home than it is to build a new one. New construction loan interest rates tend to be higher than interest rates for traditional mortgages. Additionally, the cost of materials is likely higher when building a new home than it was when an existing home was built (unless it’s a very new one). You’re also paying for all new appliances, finishes, permits, inspections, and connections for water, gas, and electricity.
The most common first signs of foundation issues include:
Cracks in the foundation walls that grow
Signs of moisture or water leaking through cracks in the foundation
Standing water in the basement
Sagging floors or walls
Cracked walls in upper floors
Doors and windows that don’t close properly anymore
Foundation repairs cost about $5,000, on average. Typically, prices range from $2,200 to $7,800, depending on the type and extent of repairs needed. Cost factors include foundation type, home size, soil stability, accessibility, and the ultimate cause of the problem and what methods and materials are required to fix it.
If you’re noticing signs of foundation issues, the first step to fixing a foundation problem is to hire a foundation repair inspector. They will determine the problem, the cause, and the severity before recommending a course of action to repair the foundation. The method for fixing foundation problems depends on the problem and what options are available. A few possible solutions include:
Epoxy injections
Mudjacking
Piers made of steel or concrete
Jacks
Hydraulic piers
Carbon or steel reinforcement strips
Waterproofing materials
