"Chris and Mike did an excellent job! Our sidewalk was sinking 2-3 inches in spots. They explained exactly how the process works. Started the job on time and was very professional. I'm impressed with how well it turned out. Our sidewalk is now level. Thank you!"

"They did great. The entire surface was level and free from tripping hazards. It is important to have them seal the cracks because there will be water from snow melt and the concrete will move. This will get you the 5 yr warrantee just in case."

"

Randy and his crew did an excellent job, were very professional, cleaned up after the work was completed and were very careful not to damage any thing even though they had to jack hammer the floor and carry gravel, sand and cement in to the lower level to complete the work.  Randy was quick to provide an estimate and completed the work earlier than expected. He is very knowledgeable and  guarantees his work. He and his crew explained everything they were doing as the work was being done. I am very pleased with what they did and would definitely use this contractor again.

"Josh Gilley quoted the job initially and stayed in constant contact with me until the service was complete. He explained the entire process, walked me through his plan, the process, the timeline and even walked me through financing options. He also stayed in contact to help ensure scheduling and logistics were handled (even through the holidays!) and was available for more questions while the service was being completed. It felt like concierge-level service, and every interaction with employees far exceeded all of my expectations. Iâ d never dealt with foundation issues before as a homeowner, and I had so many concerns about cost, logistics, and just fear of the unknown. Josh was an incredible resource and frankly a champion of the company and I knew weâ d made the right choice from start to finish. Our 80 year old home feels safe and restored now, and Iâ m so grateful to know our time and money was well spent."

House Leveling questions, answered by experts

A single visit for concrete leveling is often possible for smaller Minneapolis projects with mild settlement of 1-3 inches. Good weather and stable soil also allow for one-day completion. However, extensive damage, severe sinking of over four inches, or high soil moisture from wet springs may require multiple sessions. Complications from Minneapolis's freeze-thaw cycles, such as severe frost damage, can also extend the project timeline.

Helpful?

As a Minneapolis home ages, concrete leveling needs change. New homes (0-10 years) often require minor spot repairs for initial construction settling. For established homes (10-30 years), work addresses seasonal movement from freeze-thaw cycles and tree root damage. Mature homes may need systematic leveling of multiple areas, often coordinated with infrastructure updates common in older Minneapolis neighborhoods, to address decades of soil changes.

Helpful?

Signs that a previous concrete leveling job needs redoing include new settlement within a couple of years or cracks forming near old injection points. In Minneapolis, seasonal indicators are key, such as spring heaving after a frost-thaw cycle or new cracks appearing after the first winter. Evidence of material failure, like mudjacking slurry washing away during heavy spring rains, also signals that the original repair has failed.

Helpful?

In Minneapolis, concrete leveling projects must first prioritize function, ensuring proper drainage away from foundations to combat clay soil issues and resisting damage from severe freeze-thaw cycles. Aesthetics are balanced by matching concrete textures to fit the neighborhood and working around mature landscaping. Projects also adhere to Minneapolis city codes for accessibility and property line setbacks, ensuring both safety and a visually cohesive result.

Helpful?

In MN, excessive de-icing salt use can deteriorate leveling materials, while metal snow shovels can damage the surface. Poor water management is another key issue; blocked gutters and overwatering lawns near leveled concrete can cause soil erosion underneath. Parking heavy vehicles like RVs on driveways or failing to seal small cracks before the harsh Minnesota winter can also shorten the lifespan of the repair.
